I am Second-Scotty McCreery, Philippians 4:13 Options

I absolutely love videos, interviews, etc. of Scotty and his great witness in Christ. I love to frequent those type videos. I am sure I've missed a few here and there. So I thought a great way for those that love that part of Scotty to share any video or interview that pertains to his aspect of living for Christ, share here. I scour the internet for things as such but I'm not that great at it. Nor do I have a lot of time to do so. So please share any video, interview, etc. That is related to this type subject.

I am going to start the first post with one of my all time favorites because it was so hilarious. I shared it with students the other day. One got angry with Lady Gaga though. They felt her disrespectful to Scotty. But Scotty just rolls with it and still keeps his witness in tact. Way to go, Scotty.

That Lady Gaga bit made me fall that much more in love with that kid. He has his beliefs and his morals but he still sees the humor in the situation. He's just so darn likeable.

I agree. That would be awesome. I never heard of I am Second movement before Scotty. Now, I researched it. Great thing and great Scotty showed that with the bracelet.

I have a habit of looking for two things when I see pics of Scotty. His bracelet and his cross necklace. It is like his trademark now to me as much as Johnny Cash in black.

I loved the coverage of his hometown visit. I watched it the day he went back. I never realized how long it was at the time because I was anticipating seeing him like the crowd there. Then it blew my mind when Josh Turner showed up.

I absolutely loved Scotty saying that verse "I withheld the rain from you" and then the way the news showed the weather radar and all the rain surrounding Scotty's concert but NONE there. It was awesome!

He brings tears to my eyes every time we get on this topic. The world needs this young man and I truly believe he knows he is in the center of God's will. Scotty touches people's hearts. Besides the fact that he's such a great artist, we are drawn to him because of his faith. He will impact so many lives, just by being himself, staying true to his faith, and sharing it with others without beating them over the head.

He's so calm and sure in it that you cannot help but notice there's something different about THIS young man. I just told someone I heard a "body language" expert say one time that when people can speak with such ease (as he does so naturally in front of large crowds) without tripping over their words, it is clear that they speak from the heart and what they say is the truth. That's how I see him. I pray for him and his family every day.

That puts it in a nutshell for me. That is exactly how I feel as well!

Need help. I can't find it at all. But there was a letter he wrote for his church on his faith. I can't remember where to find it. If anyone has that article or the one where he speaks of his faith in any article, could you be so kind to post it here. I've read two articles that were so inspirational. Thanks! And God Bless.

Oh and this Bible verse is Spot on for Scotty! I was reading the Bible and thought of Scotty as soon as I read it. He lives by this verse in my opinion!

His reaction to Lady GaGa was perfect....he acknowledged they were worlds apart, yet didn't ridicule her. He treated the meeting with humor and grace.

As far as his charity efforts go -- yep, it's wonderful that he is setting an example to all ages to think beyond themselves and share.

Plus, I'm so glad he did include a gospel/song of faith on his album, as he vowed.

Scotty is an exceptional young man and I have no doubt there was a plan set in place where God played a very important role in him becoming the American Idol.

I believe Scotty when ever he speaks because he speaks his truth quietly, clearly and succinctly never wavering or stumbling.

He has this aura about him and it is so heart warming in this day and age to come across such an endearing young christian man. My prayer is that he will always stay humble and be a beacon of light to those who look up to him.
