Tickets are now on sale for an October 30 concert in Boston to celebrate the release of Siobhan's debut album; "Black Doll" will be Siobhan's second single release:

Autumn has always been Siobhan's favorite time of year, so what better time to release her first album on CD and online than with a major Boston show? Concert goers are invited to enjoy her theatrical rock show and to compete in a full scale costume contest on the night of the show. Winners will be invited to a very special private party in Boston with Siobhan on Halloween itself, Monday night October 31st.

A second single release, "Black Doll" is homage to Cape Cod illustrator Edward Gorey, whose books and works have been a major influence on Siobhan as evidenced by the Gorey tattoo she sports proudly on her arm. Black Doll will be released on iTunes and online in September.

Yes, the word right now is that it will be out the end of the month. I haven't heard if it will be digital only or if it will be available in CD form also.

Siobhan is doing this independently without the help of a label, so awareness and advertising is sure to be an issue. Your best bet is to check with her website (smagnus.com) or fan site (siofans.com) for updates as it gets closer to the end of the month. If you come to Idolforums regularly I'm sure you'll see something here as well.
