The VMA's have been losing viewers every year. They should have the reality awards show since that's mostly what they show now. Also, many people on the East Coast had no power cause of Irene. I just got mine back. I'm sure they lost many viewers cause of that as well.

Like in waiting rooms and long lines that made you late. Or mall parking lots on holidays.
