Adam in books Options

I've loved books ever since I was a kid.

Yep, me too. As soon as I was able to read, I'd go through books by the dozens. I literally ran out of books to read at the local libraries so I started buying them, dozens at a time.

I've had a Kindle for about 2 years and LOVE it, download about 3 or 4 dozen books a month.

Seeing Adam's name in print literally makes me squee!!! It never gets old.

uh, I think I might have been misunderstood? In the gay romance books to which I refer, in which we find references to Adam, the book is not about him! It's about other people, and Adam is mentioned as a pop culture reference. For instance, one of the main characters might be making dinner, and he puts on Adam's CD. Or a character is out at a club dancing, and FYE comes on. Stuff like that. So there isn't anything in these gay romance books that Adam would want to object to. They are *original* gay romance, not fanfic of any kind.

Haha! Adam's??? Adam's what? A lot of the time people leave out the ' when showing possession... This time no need for the ' .........Go figure!! And an author to boot!!

Did anyone else see that article, I think on Yahoo, that talked about a reputable clothes company, I forget which, that put out a T-shirt with the slogan 'Lets Go'? And no one caught that before they were made! Sometimes I think correct grammar is just a forgotten art.

I agree.... It's a pet peeve of mine... My father was a stickler for proper grammar and spelling so I come by it honestly. I'm even gramatically correct when I text!!

I think texting and the Internet need a grammar book. I don't know what I'd do about texting, I hate it and only did it once when I had no choice. Before I got interested in online boards, my cousin used to send me emails with 'lol' in them and I had to ask here what it meant!

I kind of had no choice when I starting texting... My kids wouldn't or couldn't answer their phones.... so texting became the only option to communicate with them... now my sister and lazy friends... ha! too busy to make a phone call.... just bascially text unless they have to speak at me..... I must say.... they too are going the way of c u latr crap.....

Back on topic.. I must insist... any book mentioning Adam... must be grammatically correct in my book... so to speak!! js

I remember seeing the big headline on Yahoo about that. I THINK it was a Michigan shirt.
