I was surprised the audience clapped and cheered when KC came up and during his speech. Is this usual for funerals?

Off to hear another voice of the '70s - Jon Anderson, former lead singer of Yes - acoustic at a very small and local theater. I've heard he's wonderful in these intimate performances.
Band dumped him when he had some health issues (asthmatic attacks) which prevented him from touring when everyone else wanted to go on the road. Looking forward to hearing songs from Yes and his solo work. --------------------

It was a wonderful show. Two solid hours of Jon solo on guitar, keyboards, and some strange little stringed instrument which I think he called a kez. Songs from Yes, and his solo albums, and his work with Vangelis (of Chariots of Fire fame). Dropped a little comment about how Vangelis would make another $10million from the upcoming Olympics.
So personable and passionate about his music, even though he's gone from playing arenas with Yes to playing theatres seating maybe 1000. --------------------

I think it was just one of those fluke closings. There wasn't any fighting going on in the thread. If a mod closes it, they generally post something as to why it is being closed.
