i figured that since there is so much great talent out there that didn't make it on idol, it got me thinking that maybe they should try out for this show. people like lilly scott from season 9 or kendra chantelle from season 10. what do you all think?

If the winner got to try out, I think Dilana should, she should have been a star, from Rock Star. I still listen to some of her stuff.
There used to be so many groups of semi-finals on Idol, they are not even on youtube anymore- if they ever were. I liked Alex Lambert and some others, it would be nice if they tried out. Obviously, it makes little difference votes-wise- Frenchie did not make the votes, but she got through because she has become a theatre star since her time on Idol, even doing Broadway, it's not really just being on Idol that kept getting her through. --------------------

I'd love to see Lauren Turner, Rachel Zevita, Katelyn Epperly, Lily Scott, Alex Lambert, Mishavonna Henson, Jesse Langseth, etc. There are so many semifinalists who get robbed.

Apparently JD and Lukas tried out this season and didn't make it past the judges. I doubt Dilana would either. --------------------

michael castro(jason's brother) should try out. he tried out for idol twice(seasons 8 & 9) & got cut in the group rounds both times.

I think Alex Lambert could do well..and he'd be good for it since he didn't make it past top 16, so he'd still be an unknown to most people.

I would love to see Kendra and Lily try out. Lily's really unique so she would probably get someone to turn their chair with the right song. If Kendra sang like she did on "Georgia On My Mind", then she would definitely get someone to turn with those high notes!
And I'd love to see Dilana try to be honest. I think she would have a better chance of getting someone to turn than Lukas or JD did. They sound like your average rock singers, Dilana has a really strong, raspy voice that you don't hear that often anymore. Like Janis re-incarnated. --------------------

Colton was great, I didn't get why they chose Brett over him, but at least he can try out again next year. Rachel Zevita can't, and I like her, she really got a bum first time out, but am not sure how she would go over at the Voice.

I would love to see Jackie Tohn and her friend Jes Hudak try out for The Voice or The X Factor as a duo if the show "Platinum Hit" (which they are currently on) doesn't work out for either of them and I've posted it on their youtube channel, hopefully they take it into consideration. I think they'd definitely be the tightest duo they've had yet harmony-wise and chemistry-wise. And they're hilarious which is a plus
