The Ultimate American Idol, 10 seasons, 200+ contestants, but who's the best? Options

There have been ten seasons of our favorite television show, American Idol. And in these past ten seasons, they have showcased some amazing talent, and they have crowned ten winners. But what would happen if we brought them all back for one super-mega-awesome All-Star season? That's right! We've brought back every finalist, every semifinalist that made the top 16 or Wild Card round, and twenty semifinalists that we felt deserved one last opportunity to prove themselves. And the best part is, YOU'RE the only vote that counts. No judges' bias to get in the way, no obvious bussing of contestants, just YOU. So what do you say? Are you ready to find The Ultimate American Idol?



The auditions will take place in 8 rounds, each featuring 23 former American Idol contestants. After viewing the auditions, you will vote. If you liked a person, just click the "yes" next to their name. If you don't like them, just click "no." The contestants that have more "yes" than "no" will be brought to Hollywood!



Hollywood week will be run like Season 10 of American Idol. For the first round, each contestant will be divided into groups, and they will sing once again. Once again, this will have a "yes" or "no" voting system. This time, only a certain number of competitors (which will be predetermined after the auditions) will get through.

Then all the contestants will be randomly divided into groups of 3-5 with a select song for the group rounds. Once again, the voting system will have a "yes or no" question, and the contestants with the most "nos" will go home.

Then, the remaining contestants will sing from another select song list to do a solo. "Yes or no," the nos go home.

Then, ALL YOUR REMAINING CONTESTANTS ARE BROUGHT TO LAS VEGAS. There, they will be randomly divided into groups of 2-3, and will have to choose a Beatles song. You'll vote yes or no, and the nos will go home.

Finally, the final solos. Your remaining contestants will sing to get a spot in the top 24. They can choose whatever song they please, and you will vote to give 12 boys and 12 girls a spot in the top 24. The voting system will be done a little bit differently. The boys and girls will each be put into a list. You'll vote for ONLY 12 OF THE GUYS and ONLY 12 OF THE GIRLS. The 12 guys and 12 girls with the most votes will be put in the top 24.



The live shows will be run like Season 10 of American Idol.

In the semifinals, your top 12 guys and top 12 girls will compete. The 5 guys and 5 girls with the most votes will be put into your top 24, while the 3 guys and 3 girls with the next highest amount of votes will be relegated to the Wild Card Round. There, the 3 with the highest amount of votes will make up your top 13.

The finals will work the same. Each week, there will be a theme. I will select a song that I think works best for the contestant, and they will perform. (If a theme corresponds to one of their performances, I will use that performance.) The contestant with the lowest amount of votes each week will be eliminated until we have our winner, the Ultimate American Idol. THERE IS NO JUDGES' SAVE. THE CONTESTANT WITH THE LOWEST AMOUNT OF VOTES EACH WEEK WILL BE ELIMINATED.
