![]() I was just wondering if anyone else had read it... it's relatively new (published in 2001) but it is AMAZING. And the author's Canadian! Yay. -------------------- The moon never beams without bringing me dreams...

I read that in my first year of university and wrote an extended essay on it, focusing on the last part of the book where the story is "re-told." To be completely fair, I don't remember much of it, other than I found it had a slow start but overall I liked it. I think, considering some of the trite novels that have been produced over the last ten years, Life of Pi is severely underrated. I might have to give it a re-read since I really don't remember much of it - plus it's so different when you read a book for your own enjoyment and then when you have to read it for school.

I love reading but I usually don't like books assigned to read. But I read this in school and LOVED it. You know how you have like, "read to this chapter by tomorrow"? I just sat there and read the entire thing in a day. Idk.. I just love it so much. And I completely agree with it being underrated. -------------------- The moon never beams without bringing me dreams...

The book is quite interesting. Watched the movie and it was very much how I was visualising it in my head. I am a visual type of person so when I read a book I visualize everything in my head what the characters look like and everything.
