I agree: the group is very strong this year. And I like Colton very much! What a breath of fresh air in comparison to JD! I just couldn't enjoy his performances last season as he was so obnoxious. And he should be the last one to talk about copying somebody!

I also like Elise very much: I think she is very talented and it was just an off week for her.

It could be one of the best seasons, just give as some good themes producers, pretty please!

It's great to finally see such a talented group on Idol.

Jessica has been my pick since her audition. She has beautiful vocals, and to do such a outstanding performance in my opinion of the hardest song of Whitney's to sing is incredible.

Whether she wins or not, it looks like Jimmy will sign her anyway.

JD is not worth wasting my time getting angst over what he says. He just doesn't exist in my world.

When Cory got thrown off the show, they didn't eliminate anyone that week... They have a tight schedule to adhere to and they would have been short one episode.

Why are they letting Jermaine appear again before kicking him off? Just let him go and have a title card or something before the show explaining that due to certain circumstances (or however they want to word it) Jermaine will no longer be competing.

The guy had warrants out for his arrest and lied to producers. I don't think they need to do him any favors.

I agree that this is really the sort of thing that should have been caught before the show aired. Maybe they only check for professional ties but never bothered with criminal background checks?

Maybe it's just the afterglow from my great day with Adam today, but I feel that, for the very first time since Adam, Idol has got some fun and diverse talent tonight..and of course I do mean not cookie cutter country!
I think the judges ae overcompensating a bit for being too positive in the past and are looking for things to criticize.
