i like casey's post idol performance a lot more, not only he toned down his growls, he also infuses a lot more jazz flavor , nuances and variations in tone.
he seems so much more seasoned and matured in style. i think being on the big stage, the nerves might have affected him. i really hope casey make a good album some time in the future, i have never liked jazz before. --------------------

I just saw his performance on Ellen. And I liked it very much. Just Michael on the piano and him on the guitar. It was an enjoyable stripped down performance. I wish he performed it that way on the show.
This is the second time I enjoyed his post-AI performance of a song he already did. I guess he really does read stuff online. He has toned down the growls and the grunting. Good for you Casey. --------------------

LOVED his performance on Ellen! Never liked Harder To Breathe on the show (bad fan?) but on Ellen, he played it just right
