First standing O: Paul McDonald
Remember how Paul McDonald liked to roam the American Idol stage, seemingly at random? When he doesn't have to worry about where the cameras are, it actually kinda works. He comes out to the opening chords of Rod Stewart's Maggie Mae -- it's clearly the right choice for this crowd. They're singing along on the chorus and cheering throughout, responding to Paul's every encouragement to clap along. "Come on, Salt Lake City!" Paul says, putting his hands on the stage floor, then raising them upwards. As if pulled by invisible strings, the crowd immediately rises -- first standing ovation of the night. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/id...paul-mcdonald/1 --------------------

paul's got the least amount of stage time on tour. what a waste of time. and it is so obvious who they are trying to promote.. pia ended at #9 and she has more stage time than even lauren and scotty!
james was the one who got screwed the most but his 2 song set is the only one that shows the awesomely talented tim stewart! --------------------
