I think a festival in Moscow should be a safe place for him - remember when we were all panicking over some of the far eastern countries and it was all ok. They would not put him in any danger.

I am not worried as much about the festival *though if you look it up it is particularly known for violent crowds* more concerned over it being on the same day as the first eVER Gay Pride Parade in Moscow. I just worry for his safety, but i'm sure he'll be very well looked after... right???? --------------------

I have been so happy so read Adam is doing a concert in Russia but at the same time I am really concerned about the homophobic attitude in that region and how it might impact Adam. I am not Russian and I hope I am not offending any Russian Adam fans here but I come from a country with a very similar orthodox culture and it is scary. It is true homophobia is widely spread among young males.

Johnny Weir goes to Russia all of the time, loves it there and has a big Russian fanbase. I'm sure Adam will be fine. Moscow is a cosmopolitan city.
