I thought Mark was with his dance partner Chelsea Kane. She was in bed with him in his new music video, but according to her facebook she's still in a relationship with some punk rocker so who knows.

They (Interscope people)probably contacted Mark to help her with some dance moves or at least to be comfortable with her stage presence?, we know she needs that and clearly they're working fast to put some music out fast enough for the tour.......my theory
