Hoping that the odd bit is that perhaps the WTG video with the millions of views is now being used for the US - as we certainly have got a video that's barely started now. So again, if anyone knows anyone overseas (OTHER than US ) please give them the second link and urge them to view and perhaps comment. It's getting a lot of attention from Phils. at the moment, as its not really coming up in searches.

some radio stations in the US....how fab is that

A little update and Who's That Girl going to radio.

So far, WTG has been heard on (or is known to be added to) radio stations in the following States: Vermont, New York, Minnesota, Texas, Mississippi, Nevada, California, Idaho, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, Virginia, New Mexico, Indiana and Arizona. It started very slowly. Just a couple of stations around upper New York State and Vermont area. Then a station in Texas. Then it started to spread out.

He's getting enough plays to make the radio 'Taking Off' chart on Mediabase over the weekend.

Who's That Girl isn't available to buy in the US, Guy is not doing any shows there at the moment to promote the track and US can't view the video now. So the song isn't getting any help to promote it on radio. We know the plan is to slowly develop Guy in the US so maybe this is a 'feeler' to see what reception he gets. But he's currently at 107 in the radio play pop chart (up from 231!). I'm wondering if there's a point, if he goes higher, where they'll say, OK, let's make the song available to buy and start promoting it.

I'm hoping something happens there during the X-Factor Australia break, between end of auditions and the beginning of the televised shows in September.

Who's That Girl is still not released in the US, but radio play is still picking up He's #66 on the Top Pop Spin Increases chart today. Not bad, considering he's doing it independently at the moment, with no live appearances, and getting into the realms of the really big artists as he goes up the chart. He started off in the 300s.

As he's on the way back to LA right this minute to do some songwriting, I'm hoping he's got some live appearances planned too.

I believe there's an EP planned for release (which included Who's That Girl.)

btw apparently Sony in their wisdom have removed all fan forums - without notification - so we've lost EVERYTHING that we had for years.

We'll be trying to keep notifications going here and there and of course on the social media, so please forgive us if there are too many threads but sometimes something occurs which needs quick advertising and which we usually relied on in the Forum area. Sony have been notorious for NOT putting Guy's shows up until almost after the event - or not at all in many cases.
