Yes! That would be awesome for him yes.gif . John Mayer is great for him.
He doesn´t necessarily has to pick a jazzy song but maybe try to make any song his own with his jazzy take. I also think he should do some current songs too. Black Keys would be perfect for him!

I can´t wait to see what he does. I think he is smart and knows he needs to mix it up each week. I bet this week he will do something softer like his Hollywood solo round. thumbsup.gif

I would love if he did "Try A Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding because it's one of my favorites and I think he'd do well with songs like that. It probably wouldn't help with the Taylor Hicks comparison though. But I had a dream where he sang "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green and it was kind of amazing, so he should sing that too, lol.

Tighten Up would be great, but apparently The Black Keys have not cleared their music for the show.

Beg, Steal, or Borrow by Ray LaMontagne might be good.

It would be fun to see Casey shop in the women's department, as Paula would say, and do some Adele (maybe Chasing Pavements) or Katie Melua (My Aphrodisiac is You).

He could put a twist on some classics. Maybe Desperado by The Eagles.
