I love an embroidered shirt and a vintage suit. I don't think they'd try to make me wear one, but I don't think I could pull off the Adam Lambert-type studs and leather or feathers ensembles. I think the goal of the makeovers is to just be the best you. I know myself and my style pretty well at this point, but they might help you find a less used vintage vest.

What sets you apart from the other contestants?
Paul McDonald: I guess I am the quirky one with the white teeth. I am just being me. Genre-wise, I think I am outside of the box from the others because I don't really listen to top 40 radio and I don't have the range to do those Celine Dion ballads. I went the band-and-indie route. I have been on a lot of stages and that helps. I think I am pretty comfortable on the stage as long as I am not trying to be somebody I'm not. Some of the others are a lot less comfortable being in front of a crowd. They don't quite know how to move and sing.

all the insanity that recently kicked into gear after Huntsville native Paul McDonald made the Top 13 of "American Idol," here's one we didn't see coming:

A Twitter page called PaulMcDsTeeth.

Yep, here's what it says of McDonald's pearly whites:

* Name: PaulMcDsTeeth

* Location: Paul's Mouth

* Bio: You can see me, bright & smiley every week on American Idol. Come support me & Paul as we sing & brighten everyone's life up...one smile at a time

There's also a nice, white closeup on his teeth.

It looks like the Twitter page might have been started sometime Sunday afternoon by one of McDonald's many thousands of fans. He's already gotten over 11,000 followers on his "American Idol"-issued PCMcDonaldAI10 Twitter page.

His teeth - well, maybe there should be one called PMcdonaldshands to type the tweets with? - tweeted this to, um, the rest of his body:

"Welllll???? Are you gonna follow me? You didn't make me all white & shiny & stuff for nothing dude"

This, though, is our favorite tidbit from the the teeth Twitter page (try saying that fast three times): "Do we need to pick up some more toothpaste/floss on the way back to the mansion?"

McDonald responded to his teeth's twitter by saying: You guys are crazy! HaHa."
