Karen will never be really representative for all Latinos. To start off not all Latinos here in the U.S. share a common culture and Latinos vary in ethnicity.

The same that are many different people white or black! Latinos is not just from a country, they are many and different people from different places in world. Karen is latinoamerican and she represents all her community the same that a black or white person can do either, right? --------------------

Thats stupid! The same that are many different people white or black! Latinos is not just from a country, they are many and different people from different places in world. Karen is latinoamerican and she represents all her community the same that a black or white person can do either, right? In my other post I meant to say that there isn't a common culture for all Latinos in the U.S. There are various Hispanic/Latino colutres in the U.S. Karen to an extent can only represent a certain amount of Latinos. Some Hispanics/Latinos groups in the United State have been here for over 400 years and they are descendants of the Spanish Conquistadors who intermarried or had relations with Native Americans and other cultural groups. While other Hispanics/Latinos have roots in different countries and also some Hispanics/Latinos rarely embrace their roots or traditions from countries they immigrated from or countries that their grandparents or ancestors immigrated from. Also the dialects of Spanish spoken here in the US vary in different areas due to the fact that some Hispanics/Latinos are new to the U.S. while others have been here longer and no longer fleuntly speak dialects that are spoken in other countries and some Hispanics/Latinos don't speak Spanish or care to learn the language. There really isn't one Latino community in the U.S. It's the same thing with whites and blacks. Black communities in the South are different from black communities in northern states or black communities in on the West Coast. With whites in the U.S., cultures also vary due to various ethnic backgrounds, religions, and periods of immigration and geographic locations. For example a southner like Scotty McCreery probably doesn't have the same culture as someone like Pia Toscano. They are both white but they have different ethnic backgrounds and grew up in different areas. When it comes to race and culture, not all people of a race or ethnic group will have a one common culture. --------------------
