As there was Skating With the Stars, as inspired by Dancing With the Stars, there could be a skating competition called So You Think You Can Skate. This would be another competition on FOX, possibly in late fall.

I used to figure skate, and I always watch whenever they air competitions on TV I would so watch this and get hooked onto it  -------------------- SYTYCD:

Lol! there used to be a show like that here on our place... artists partnered w/ good figure skaters (most are teens since I don't think there are any professional level skaters here). Funny thing is there is no snow here in our country, so they used the only skating rink here in the country (w/c is inside a mall). Winter sports are so unpop here that's its only for rich kids (since rink rent was so expensive, and teachers are super rare)

In Canada CBC has Battle of the Blades, which matches up professional figure skaters and NHL hockey players. I've only seen little bits of it, but it is interesting to see the hockey players trying to learn to be elegant, and some of them are pretty good at it.
