Just in case of anybody missed it yesterday,Here’s the plot of the movie “Truth Be Told” that Danny is suposed to guest in:

The plot focuses on a marriage counselor — Annie Morgan, played by Candace Cameron Bure — who has never been married. She gets a chance to host a talk show, and media mogul Alexander Bishop, played by Ronnie Cox, invites her to his New Mexico ranch — with her spouse. She asks an old college friend, played by David James Elliott, to pose as her husband, complete with teenage kids, for the weekend.

Word has it Danny might sing in the movie.

Danny Gokey to Appear in New Movie ‘Truth Be Told’

Danny Gokey reveals that he is appearing in an upcoming made-for-TV movie. Besides writing songs for his upcoming album and working on his charity, Sophia’s Heart, Gokey has just made a cameo in a film that’s coming out on FOX.

The movie, called ‘Truth Be Told,’ is part of a partnership with Wal-Mart and Proctor and Gamble. Gokey tells Taste of Country, “They are doing a series of 12 major TV movies, and they air once a month on a Sunday night. They’re trying to get back to family night. It’s very family-oriented with a very hopeful theme.”

“I just went out there and did some recording,” he adds. “They’re picking my music to kind of be the background music of the movie, I made an appearance in it and had a couple of little speaking lines too. It was awesome. I definitely would love to get into acting and stuff.”

Gokey says that on the shoot, he met a few actors he really liked, like Candace Cameron and James Elliot. Quarterback Kurt Warner also make an appearance in the movie.

“Acting, music and my non-profit are the three things I want to be totally immersed in,” Gokey explains.

Gokey’s next gig is on Feb. 19 in Annapolis, Md. at the Rams Head Tavern.

"Truth be Told" Movie will Premiere on April 14th

Danny Gokey is set to make his acting debut in a little over a month. Truth Be Told was filmed in New Mexico and also features actress Candace Cameron, who tweets that the movie will premiere on Fox on April 14th.

Danny has four lines and sings two songs. “It’s brand new for me, but I really want to get into acting,” he said in a recent interview.
