I think it's well done too, judging from a lot of posts I've seen after people have seen it, it really touches people

I don't think I've seen one negative comment about this video anywhere. I was not expecting a whole lot, just a very basic, very literal video. But it is quite touching and sweet. So pleased

Just so pleased how this is all turning out. From Crystal getting (mostly) her own songs, the album cover, this video. . .Even the songs that I preferred the original versions, now I like the album versions at least as much, if not more. There's always the acoustic album to look forward to! And the live albums. And her greatest hits

I think I've only seen one negative post about it, and so many positive ones, people who didn't know much about Crystal and weren't going to check out her album and now say they will, so it's letting people know more about her.

I like the way they dealt with the broken foot. They could have gotten very melodramatic and graphic, but the subtlety was actually more effective. I'm not sure that everyone who hasn't heard about the broken foot incident will get it, but it sure was effective with me.

I'm not familiar with the story about the broken foot. Can anyone shed light on it? Thanks.

Can't remember where I read it (I'm sure it was here). Crystal's mother was very strict about checking her daugher's blood sugar. She was arguing with Crystal about it, became angry and threw a chair at her, causing her to break her foot. The cause of the broken bones from the song, I believe.

The account I saw Crystal give had nothing to do with her insulin levels and lots to do with her mother's alcohol levels. Her mother came home after drinking, swung a chair, and Crystal blocked the chair with her foot, resulting in a broken foot.

She discussed it in an interview with Time Out Chicago. I found it right away, which was surprising!

We're both right: they were arguing about checking blood sugar, but her mother was most definitely drunk.

As istersay said, VH1 is adding the video January 3. She couldn't be on the countdown until after that anyway because I think their shows for the next few weeks are countdowns for the best videos of the year. Hopefully the countdown will have her on that following weekend to debut the video on their show. (And while she's in New York, it would be great if she could do an interview with Slezak. ) The countdown is really the best way for her video to get exposure. It would be good if fans could keep her video on there for at least a few weeks.
