The pic is alright. the design however is boring and LAZY. no effort put into it at all.

What annoys me is that the photoshoot looked like it had so much potential, and this is what we get?

I wasn't a fan of the first album cover at all, but at least that one had the redeeming quality of a color scheme that made it stand out. This one is completely blah.
And yes, that is a good, smiling picture of David (although we discussed the unfortunate Aaron Kelly resemblance a few weeks ago  ). It would be nice, however, if his face took up more than just 1/20th of the total cover area. I would have been happy with this cover back in the days of big, gigantic vinyl records. And, I don't get whats the point of going to a specific location, like Coney Island, for the photoshoot, if you're not even going to incorporate it into the album or single covers.

Same here. And I've been to Coney Island a million times and its very colorful and lively, but very vintage at the same time. I really, really hope the music on the album is great
 , because the pictures are not my motivation right now  , i was hoping for a new picture for the cover, but seriously?? I do like how it is a simple design I just wish the font was different and placed differently.
