i totally thought that her BATTLEFIELD album would have at least 8 i thought it would be

2. S.O.S.
3. WALKING ON SNOW
4. NO PARADE
6. LET IT RAIN
7. IT TAKES MORE

As much as I would absolutely love a third album, and a double disc at that too, I can't help but say how much I want a third single from Battlefield. Battlefield, is, in my opinion, one of, if not, the best Pop album release this past decade. It's full of potential hits. Just 'cause one didn't work out very well doesn't mean that the entire effort should be ditched. Anyway, back to the topic. A double disc release would be fantastic.

I'm not a fan of CDs with lots of tracks because that usually makes more room for fillers. But on the 3rd album note, I'm SO excited for a new era to start

Feel free to mention anything from the actual sound of the album, to collaborators to promotion and whatever else rocks your boat.

I may be reaching for the stars here but for the next album/era, I would like to see:
- a more cohesive sound..not necessarily a general theme but it has to flow well and make sense
- production from some of my favorite producers/song-writers: Timbaland & Danja, Howard Benson, Diane Warren & David Foster, Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri & Brian Micheal Cox, The Runners, Linda Perry, Brian Kennedy, Oak, Harvey Mason etc
- 2 singles before the album drops or at least drop the 2nd single right around the time the album is released
- live instrumentation...lots of STRINGS and electric guitar solos
- CRAZZZZY harmonies (see: Brandy)
- music videos with more in detail storylines
- the majority of the songs written or cowritten by her
- more songs that tell stories
- a few really epic ballads like Battlefield
- a duet with a female whos on her level vocally (JoJo would be ideal) and/or with a hot rapper like T.I., Kanye, Drake etc
- the uptempos be more hip-hoppy rather than dance-poppy
- higher profile promo like SNL (hosting!), Today show or GMA Concert series, Oprah and an award show performance finally please!
- promo should be spread out rather than all in one week (seems to be working for Monica & Adam Lambert)
- a featured single or 2 before the lead single drops
- a endorsement deal with a cosmetics company
- her commentary on the songs & footage in the studio of her recording the album on the DVD
- a movie before the album drops would be awesome too

I can see that. Something edgier but that still stays true to her wholesome image would work for me.

Hmmm, I think i'd like more inspirational songs.. if that makes sense.. more OSAAT type stuff. She's young, and she has a good image, and she's a role model to young girls. I want more songs about life.

I feel like some of the songs she had on Battlefield about love seemed unrelatable for her. Or at least my image of her in my head haha. Singing about being alone in bed without the guy. Just seems weird to me.

Also more intense vocals.

Maybe change up her style a bit, I feel like a lot of the songs on Battlefield run together.

Wow. SPOT ON. I agree with every single thing on this list! Also, I want to see Jive really putting their best foot forward on this one. Like this is it, if the 3rd album flops, there's a big chance Jordin would get dropped, and it would be their fault that the album flopped. If they want to make that money, they need to invest in Jordin.

Great minds think alike Yeah, they really have to do more than just the standard morning show, late night show and radio interview promo run. Whats important is that they generate a good amount of buzz on the project even before the lead single drops.
