Official Top 7 Discussion Thread, Can't wait! Vote! Options

Hey, guys. I have really sort of been off-and-on with watching this season (since I don't really have a favorite contestant in the Top 12), but Siobhan is the person that I like the most of everyone in the Top 12, and she has a good voice. I'm sick of Simon and the others treating her like crap! Although her post-performance speeches probably don't endear herself to too many people (just look on GD/Spoiler Thread), she doesn't deserve being a punching bag. I really hate how she's probably going to be run over by the Idol bus, and I plan to support her in whatever she does after this season.

And I wish that some people would stop bashing her! It's one thing to say that you don't like her vocals, but one forum-goer is especially pissing me off...maybe you know who I'm talking about. Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Of course, there is no way to quantify this or ever prove it, but: I think there will be somewhat of a backlash for Crystal. She will get sympathy votes for crying, but generally I think more people are prone to NOT vote for someone crying at the end of a song because they suspect they're fake tears (I'm not saying they were fake, but that is the impression that many people will have). Having said that, I think it will translate into an uptick in votes in Siobhan's direction.

And if it means anything, I vote almost 150 times every week and tonight I'm getting more busy signals than ever. Hope this is a good thing!

Maybe next week they'll just show the numbers and move on.

Any thread that has even the slightest of criticism towards Siobhan. He (she?) jumps on the "I hate Siobhan" wagon. Maybe I'm oversensitive, but still. The name starts with mikeyace, by the way. And if you're reading this, get a life and stop letting yourself be so hateful!
