As most of us know by now, Anoop's first single "My Name" is out on March 23rd!

I think Anoop and his peeps are trying to go for the global market, judging from the repeated mention of the Philippines, India and UL in interviews. You can order the single thru iTunes or Amazon...or thru anoopdesai.com (this is better, there are packages available and you'll be cutting thru the middleman and helping the artist directly).... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5iH6_5q5lY...feature=related I dont' really care much for the lyrics ("poppin' like a toaster..."....dropping like an album..."....makes me kind of snicker,,,) but the beat/hook is SICK! This is exactly what Anoop want his music to be as he has said---POP RnB..... And even in the single itself, there are hardly any autotuning in his voice....I love the bhangra/Hindu influences....it sounds authentic.... Anoop's got ambitions and he's not afaraid to run after it....good for him... I wish he'd put on some weight though... --------------------

Hello fellow PA Anoop fan!!
 Well, for those that aren't really into "My Name", Anoop's album has 7 other songs. I am also a huge fan of "Lost & Found", but I love anything Josh Hoge writes and Josh co-wrote FOUR of the eight songs. We've heard a little bit of "Single" also, but not enough to really judge. Bring Alex Lambert back!! --------------------
