By the way..I just wanted to share this 'cause it really made me smile. Well, Allison fans know for sure that she's here in the Philippines for her tour. She was on television a lot yesterday. My dad saw her on the news, she was being interviewed. He didn't know the girl, because he had been working at Sweden while Season 7 to 8 were being aired, he didn't get to watch the show with us, who tune in everyday, so my mom told him who Allison is, that she was part of the top 4 last season, one of our favorites but got eliminated, and everything. She's a big fan of Season 7 and 8, she knew all about it. My dad, on the other hand, started watching Season 9 because of me.  And he's a HUGE fan of Siobhan. He loved her song choices, some of them are old favorites of his, and he likes that he knows what he's hearing and can sing along. Plus, my dad loves Siobhan's great vocal range too. And he didn't like that she was eliminated too. So, back to the news, he was watching it, and after mom told him about Allison, he pointed to the screen and said, "Siobhan's going to be just like her, don't you think? She's going to tour around, be famous, even if she didn't win." And I was like..awww. We share the love for Ms. Magnus, and we're both hoping she has a big career in front of her.--------------------  Colton.Jessica.Phillip

I am aspiring satire writer in San Francisco and a huge fan of Siobhan Magnus. As I'm sure you can guess, I was terribly disappointed when she was eliminated. Today, I am submitting this article on Siobhan at The Spoof (thespoof.com), but I wanted to share it with her fans as most of you won't get to see it there.
Somali Pirates No Match for Siobhan Magnus' Scream Written by The San Francisco Onion Tags: American Idol, Somali Pirates Thursday, 6 May 2010 Image: Luxury Cruise ship docked in harbor. Caption: Engineers will check the cruise ship Vindication for structural damage following the sonic assault. LOS ANGELES, California - Unarmed security guards deterred a gang of pirates, delivering earsplitting shrieks in their direction when they attempted to board a ship off the coast of Africa this Thursday, said a spokesman for Kathie Lee Carnival Tours. The fantasy cruise ship Vindication had previously installed a Long Range Acoustic Device, or LRAD, as part of its defense systems, said a spokesman for the luxury tour line. The devices have been deployed on commercial and naval vessels worldwide since summer of 2003 with mixed results, the company said. Vindication was about 120 miles off Somalia when pirates wielding rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns were spotted approaching the ship. Idol Technology Corp. said security personnel used an LRAD to direct intense, 150-decibel "sonic booms" toward the pirates - who fired rocket-propelled grenades and AK-47s at the device, narrowly missing as several nearby guards jumped off of the ship and into the Gulf of Aden. The captain quickly altered the ship's course as a single brave guard rushed toward the LRAD, hurriedly loading some of his favorite eTunes. Using the 45-pound, dish-shaped device, he blasted rock music by Motörhead and the Ramones at the approaching skiff in a tight beam, which the pirates actually seemed to enjoy - they began to mosh and bang their heads, then retrieved a fresh bottle of rum and passed it around, laughing as they swilled heartily, according to one witness. Frustrated, the guard skipped to America's Got Idols castoff Siobhan Magnus' performance of Shania Twain's Any Man of Mine, directing several earsplitting shrieks at the pirates; Idol Technology Corp., based in Los Angeles, compared the piercing screams to that of a woman giving birth, only much louder. The skiff's crew immediately dropped their weapons, covering their ears as they fled, heading out into the open sea at high speed. Once he had determined that they were at a safe distance, he said, the brave guard breathed a sigh of relief. Hoping to soothe the cruise ship's agitated occupants, he loaded Magnus' take on the Beatles' Nothing's Gonna Change My World - which had the unintended effect of lulling the ship's entire crew and its passengers into a peaceful slumber. After the crew failed to respond to requests to update the ship's location for several hours, an emergency rescue team was dispatched to waken the drifting ship's captain, who set the cruise ship back on course without further mishap. "Hey!! Where the hell do you think you're going? Get back here!" shouted the forgotten guards still treading water in the Gulf of Aden.  --------------------
