"Teen Mom" is a new series on MTV that is a spin-off of "16 and Pregnant". This series follows Maci, Farrah, Catelynn and Amber during their first years as teen moms. It's a documentary style that jumps in between the 4 girls.
I was a fan of 16 and Pregnant last summer, so when I heard about this series I was very excited. I'm watching it right now and I love it. If any of y'all have opinions, post them here! --------------------  sig by Deon and avi by Elliott Survivor Caramoan: Cochran, Dawn, Andrea, Brenda,

Anyone see the premier last night of "Teen Moms" on MTV?
it's a continuation of "16 & pregnant" and they're now documenting their lives with the babies. Farrah - wow she has a lot of growing up to do, she's so selfish, and really needs to understand she's a mom now, not a 'normal teen'  Catelynn - I feel so bad for her, I know she did the right thing, but her and Tyler are having such a hard time. I am so proud of her though, she's so strong.  Maci - she's doing an amazing job, they best she knows how to do. and i am so glad her and ryan are working things out and getting married, but i dont think he can be trusted. going away for a month on work business..maybe, but its a given he'll be having some fun of his own.  Amber - she worries me. watching some of the scenes in the episode, i dont know, i just think she needs to be a lot more careful; pay more attention. As for her bf/fiance...he needs to get his head on his shoulders and help out alot more...  as a teen mom, i dont really know what to think of this show... thoughts? --- i made this post somewhere else and it was moved here. Since it just premiered in the U.S. this week I'm betting we're not going to get it here in Canada until sometime in the New Year.

^It premiered in Canada on the 8th.
I don't think Farrah is acting that immature.. the fact that she wanted to drive 3 hours just to dump a guy she's dated twice was a little dumb, though. Just because she has a baby doesn't mean she has to give up having a social life. Catelynn & Tyler's situation is so odd (their parent's being married and all).. I just feel bad for them. I think Maci is going to be a great Mom, but her boyfriend seems like a douche. I don't think they should get married yet. He does not seem to have the maturity level to handle a kid and a marriage, yet. Amber and Gary.... oh god. hahaha. Their baby has the same name as me!   --------------------

I loved 16 and Pregnant.
Really great show that showed insight into what pregnant teens really go through. I haven't seen Teen Mom yet but I know its gonna be great.  -------------------- Hey, I'm Michelle. I love to laugh:)

Just watched the first episode it was good. I still really don't like Farrah she just doesn't seem like a good mom. It sucks that I don't get MTV here at school so I have to watch all of the episodes online.

I like Maci the best, she seems like a really good mom. I like Catelynn, but I find it super duper creepy that her and her boyfriend like made their stepsibling with their parents being married.

Yeah I find the whole Caitlyn's mom being married to Tyler's dad thing really weird. I'm sorry but if my one of my boyfriend's parents married one of mine I wouldn't date him anymore.

Farrah has to be one of the most self absorbed people I've ever seen on a reality show. And that's saying A LOT.

They shouldn't have to with hold their happiness because of their parents' decision, when they were involved romantically before. It's a weird situation, but they're not related by blood. It's not incestuous and it's not like they asked for their parents to get married. crap happens. Someone said Farrah shouldn't have to give up her social life because she had a baby--well. You're kind of asking for that when you get pregnant. You can't expect to live the same kind of life you had before you had the baby. --------------------
