I saw that on her twitter. I hope it happens fairly quickly. I think she'll sign with an Indie label or a smaller major label. Labels like RCA, Jive, Universal, etc. (really big name labels) are going to be demanding as far as doing promo, touring, music videos, etc. Indie labels would require smaller promotion, more intimate tours (most likely), possibly less traveling, a calmer scene as opposed to the chaos that comes with those big name signees. Idk, that's just my guess. I just want the album!
 BTW, is she still doing Joiryder? (I think that's how she spelled it) Or is she doing a solo thing now? --------------------

It's gonna take a while even after she signs a deal with record company, since she needs some time to settle down and put some additional work on her materials... But STILL! Megan is so close to being signed!!! But she may not take it because she said she can do it herself and have more freedom but less money. She said Ryder is all that matters so idk if that means she will take the record deal for the financial stability or do it independently so she doesn't have the hecticness of the music industry surrounding Ryder as he grows up....here is her exact quote.
"Dear twitter world.... I find myself at a crossroads. This is why I have been so quiet. I need to decide whether I sign to a label OR do this myself slowly with more freedom (and less money haha) EITHER WAY I am going to sing, oh how Ill sing Choices choices. Ryder is all that matters and I have to keep that at the top of my pondering... The music industry and babies are hard to mix I know it guys.... there are so many Pros and Cons to both.
