Errr.. I missed the start but Toby has withdrawn for some reason.
Andrew said that he would have been in the bottom 3 regardless along with James and Nathan. James would have been eliminated if it wasn't for Toby going so James gets to stay in the comp. Edit: Okay apparently his withdrawn because he doesn't want to do it anymore and wants to go back to teaching. What a douche. Why even bother being in the competition in the first place? Taking someones spot who wanted it grrr and not to mention the money his fans spent on voting. Basically Toby decided he wants to be a Teacher more than a singer so he thought it was better for the others if he withdrew

I don't quite know what to say, I was dozing and came too with the sound of Toby singing 'My Way' which I might say, was really awe inspiring (remember I was just kind of waking up
 ) anyhow, I'd really like to listen to that again!I like this top 4. -------------------- No matter what your stance on One Direction is, there is no denying that they are currently the biggest name in music right now.

You have to respect him leaving at a time BEFORE they get to the nitty gritty where they're likely to record and get signed...
If only Crossy had done that back in Season 1 to give more deserving contestants a chance to progress further in the comp... --------------------

Toby quitting is absolutely ridiculous! He got to the top 5, and then decided he wanted to quit WTF!? Maybe he just "wanted to be a celebrity."

they confuse not only the contestants, but the audience to boot!Who was it said 'expect the unexpected'? .................................................. well done Toby! So, he was in the bottom 3 anyhow! that makes Anthony Callea still the only Idol not to have been placed in the bottom 3. Wow that is just ridiculous. If he wanted to quit he should've done it earlier.

OMG wow @ Toby withdrawing. That is SO not cool.
 Whenever the Jay Dee always asked him if he really wanted to be there, Toby would hesitate before he actually answered. As someone else said, maybe HE wanted to be the celebrity. I feel bad for all the people who wasted their money voting for him this past week.I am glad James gets another chance though. Toby is dumb, he didn't even withdraw for personal reasons where he could be likable at the end of it all. Whatever at least Nathan James and Hayley are still in. This ensures at least one will be runner up next to Stan.

It was an average show overall. I thought James was the best but like usual the judges disagreed so whatever. The next elimination will be between him and Nathan.

I'd honestly like to see 3 completely new judges, but I guess like the voters, they have their own opinions/favourites It's what they say that's so completely out of it, how could anyone gather constructive advice from their 'oft' rantings? -------------------- You gotta accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative.

I think he decided he wants to be a teacher after all because of all the people who keep saying terrible things about him. I think it's perfectly acceptable that it took him this long to buckle and realize he just doesn't have a tough enough skin. And you people won't even give him a break now that he's gone. At VFTW we can be pretty cruel, but the way Toby was treated on this site was worse than anything we've ever done. except maybe to gokey, but whatever, he deserved it
I'm sad to see him going, but that's life. I guess it just gives Hayley an even better chance to make it to the finale, which is all that matters at this point --------------------
I was mad that Canadian Idol was canceled after its best season, but now, watching America follow its best with its worse, I'm starting to think maybe that was the right move.
