It sucks that Chicago and Tokyo didn't get it but Rio De Janeiro would be nice to go to. It's the first time a South American country got the olympics.

This will be a fun olympics, the beaches, the mardi gras carnival atmosphere, the hot girls, the crazy sports fans...it's going to be a party!! I really want to go!! I bet it will be as good as Sydney

Honestly, I'm STILL pissed!!!

Y'all do realize that places like Athens practically went broke after hosting the Olympics, right?
 I'm excited for Rio de Janeiro! When they announced that they were a finalist, that's who I wanted it to go to. I can't wait to see these games! --------------------

I'm happy for Rio, I'll let them host, but Chicago should've hosted the 2016 Olympics!

I'm sure the Olympics will come back to the states soon enough. We still have more money to build the necessary venues needed than a lot of countries, so I'm sure they'll be back before you're dead.
And Victorio, I'm still pissed they're not bringing baseball and softball back too! --------------------

We better get the 2020 games. It would have been 24 years since the last time we hosted them.

I just heard that they were broke/came awfully close to being broke after hosting the Olympics. I also know the venues have basically been in disrepair since 2004. This will be London's third time to host the Olympics, and I think it would have been awesome to have them in NYC! I'm ready for the Olympics to come back, but I'm still glad they're going to be in Rio. I think South America deserves a turn.  --------------------

LA or NYC should try for the 2020 games, those two cities are probably the best chances the US has. We HAVE to get them in 2020. We have to.
