Okay, so.. tour is comin' to an end next week. TIME FOR A NEW THREAD for us to spam. And well, talk about Megan's future. We all know by now she's got a tv show in the works. She's been doing modeling. And she's got a band ready to go back home in Utah. The only thing missing now is a movie deal.
 Girl is going to be a supastar!  QUOTE I had a chance to sit down one on one with American Idol contestant, Megan Joy. She successfully auditioned for the show in Salt Lake City, Utah with her performance of “Can’t Help Lovin’ That Man” and ended in ninth place with her last performance “Turn the Lights down Low.” Check out the interview below. How has the tour been? It has been so good, just amazing. [Laughs] It’s been a frickin’ blast. How would you compare the show to the tour? The show was amazing, but was always so busy and so stressful. The tour on the other hand is still busy but a lot less stressful and a lot more carefree. Why is that? Well because we aren’t worrying about the votes [laughs]. Well I know you have a son, that must be tough with being on tour and being away huh? Your right, it has been really tough. Especially with my son at home and not being able to see him. I’m missing him all the time. What do you have in the works now that the tour is almost over? I’ve been doing some modeling, which has been fun. There’s also some TV stuff in the works. Oh yeah? What kind of TV stuff? I’ve got one of those “mom” shows in the works. Not sure on the name though or anything like that..no specifics yet. Awesome, have you had any trouble adjusting to the “fame” from American Idol? I haven’t had too much trouble adjusting. I mean there are some people that recognize me and call out my name but I’m not being swarmed by the paprazzi or anything like that laughs]. Has your life completely changed since Idol? The hardest part of adjusting is the fact that I used to be a stay at home mom. Now all of a sudden I’m traveling the country and singing on stage. It has definitely been a blast though. OH YEAHHHHH. Matt had some "special people" in the audience last night, didn't he? IMMA CROSS MY FINGERS FOR HIM TOO! Mattegan needs to be signed. IMMEDIATELY!!.
I can't wait to hear more about this tv show. I don't quite understand what a "Mom" show is, though.  --------------------

Im so jazzed for her future. I really CAN NOT wait for some Megan music. That's what I really hope happens first but I doubt it will. Before the years up I MUST hear something new musically

It'll probably be a longer wait on the music, I think. But modeling. I hope that comes out sooon.

I know but in recent interviews she has talked about her band and Recording her album and I think she can work on both those from Utah(Especially since it will be independant) which would def help move things along knowing how She feels about working close to Ryder, so maybe it will be sooner than we think (I Hope )-------------------- Thanks So Much: aravilui

Im seriously buying like 10 copies of her album when I comes out. And if she plays a show anywhere remotely close to me I'll be there like white on rice. I think I'll die when i hear her first musical release post idol

I'm SO excited for what the future has to offer for her! I'm sad because this chapter in her life is ending, and, let's face it, without American Idol, we might never have gotten to know the "Joy" that is Megan! Having said that, though, I'm beyond ready to see what the entertainment business has for her! It'll be GREAT!
