My Milwaukee, Wisconsin Concert Experience, With pictures Options

My sister and I got to the Bradley Center at around noon. It’s a good thing we got there when we did because even though there weren’t a ton of people, almost all the space right by the barricades was taken. We did get a spot towards the end though. We then met one of my sister’s friends, Jenna, who actually posts here. Then, at around 2:00, the buses finally came!!! It took a while for anyone to come off the bus but Matt came out first. He waved at all of us and signaled that he’d be out in a minute and went inside. Then Danny freaking Gokey came out. Everyone started cheering. I got so excited because he came over to the side that we were on first. While Danny was out, Matt, Megan, and Allison came out to sign as well. However, shortly after Danny came out, he had to leave to go. He told the crowd that he had to go take care of some things and that he’d be back out. While Danny was gone we got pictures with Matt, Megan, and Allison. Matt was hilarious, telling the people near us that he was having a bad day since Miley Cyrus was stuck in his head and then he imitated singing “The Climb”. Hahah. Megan and Allison are both a lot smaller in real life. Megan seemed really tired too; she kept saying how it was so bright. Aww. After Matt, Megan, and Allison, Scott and Anoop came out! Neither of them were taking pictures, just signing autographs so I had them sign my shirt. Then Michael came out. He was SO nice to everyone. I got a picture with him and had him sign my shirt. He stayed out there for a pretty long time. By this time it was about 3:45 so I didn’t think anyone else was going to be out but I was bummed since Danny said he would come back. We saw people going into the Bradley Center so we thought the Meet and Greets must have been starting and one of the security guards said that they were all inside. We decided to wait until 5:00 before my sisters(my other sister had to work and got there at about 4:30), Jenna, and I decided to go to the Turners to get dinner.
















I hate the pictures of them with me. I look ridiculous.








We got out of Turners close to 6:00. When we walked out we saw a huge mob of people over by the buses so we thought someone must have come out. My sister asked some lady and she said that someone had come out but she didn’t know who. We assumed it was Danny and that he had gone back in. Either way, we sprinted across the street towards the barricades and there was Danny Gokey, signing autographs. There were tv cameras there and everything. It was so crazy. People were calling out to him for pictures and wanting autographs. He said he was just signing autographs but he’d go back around and take pictures. I had brought the picture of Danny that I got at his homecoming and had him sign it!!!! Then later after he signed for everyone he came back around and took pictures for everyone as well. He was soo incredibly nice to do that. My sisters and I got our picture with him but the lady who took it cut off my one sister so we ran to the end of the line and she got a picture with him. After we got our pictures and autographs we decided to go wait by the doors since it was so crowded. People were practically in the street trying to get near Danny. We were honestly SO lucky to come out of the restaurant when we did.


I look terrible.

I know, right? My sister and I wanted cheesecake for dessert but since it was so crowded we decided just to go. Imagine what would have happened if we had gotten that cheesecake.

I know, there were so many people around him. I felt sort of bad for him but I'm sure he was enjoying the support in his hometown.

Michael
I was never a fan of Michael on the show. I would have rather had Alexis, Jorge, or Jasmine on tour instead of him. But he was so good and I’m so glad he was there. Not only was he super nice before the show by coming out and talking to all the fans and taking pictures, but he sounded amazing. In Love With a Girl was a great way to start the show. He did a good job getting the crowd going and between his two songs he dedicated the night to Danny. It was so amazing how everyone cheered so loud whenever Danny’s name came up. When they played the Ford videos, when Danny would be on the screen, everyone screamed. It was incredible. I was pleasantly surprised by Michael’s set.







Megan
Like Michael, I wasn’t a fan of hers on the show. But again, like Michael, she really surprised me. Put Your Records On was amazing. She picked two really good songs that suited her well. She looked so comfortable on stage too. I loved her live.






Scott
Scott was one of my original favorites. I was really glad he made the top 13. But then he just got boring to me since he always played the piano and I wanted him to switch it up. At the concert he reminded me of what I originally loved about him. He sounded great and his piano playing was amazing. I loved his banter with the crowd between his songs, especially about the “high five heard around the world” with Ryan Seacrest. A Thousand Miles was really good.

Lil
Like Scott, I loved Lil at first but her top 13 performances just never did anything for me. But again, she reminded me of why I loved her in the first place. She picked perfect songs. Single Ladies was one of my favorite performances of the night. She has such an amazing voice and I love her.





Anoop
Anoop was pretty much my second favorite on the show. I loveddd him. I was mad he didn’t make it out of the first group of the semis and was SO happy when he was a wildcard. His set was one of my favorites. I nearly died during Always on my Mind. He was so so so good. Ahh I love him so much.






Matt
Matt’s set was incredible. I loved his piano playing. Georgia On My Mind was so so so good. One of my favorite performances of the night. You Found Me was reallyyy good too.






Medley
Everyone was SO good during this. I loved Matt and Scott’s dueling pianos, Michael’s solo, and then Beggin was awesome.

Alison
After the intermission, it was Allison’s turn. Man she was so good. I didn’t really love So What(it was good, but not my favorite of hers) but Cry Baby was incredible. She really worked the stage too and was so fun to watch. I love love love her. I loved how between her songs she was talking to the crowd and asked if anyone was excited for Danny or Adam and then she goes, “Well my set still isn’t over.” It was just so funny. Unfortunately I couldn’t get many pictures of her because my battery was dying and I didn’t want it to die before Danny came on.



Danny
Ahhh the hometown boy!!! When the little intro came up on the screen that showed Danny, the crowd went CRAZY. I have never heard it so loud. I’m pretty sure the entire crowd was standing for his whole set. His talk with the crowd was really sweet; I don’t see how anyone would think it was preaching but whatever. His entire set was so incredible; the best I’ve ever heard him. His performances and before the show made me love him so much more than I already do and cannot wait to hear what he does after this. He was just amazing, and the crowd reaction to him was incredible.










Adam
I was never a big fan of Adam on the show just because I wasn’t a fan of his style of music. I liked a few of his performances but not a lot. He was AMAZING live. I loved all of his songs, especially Starlight. I loved Mad World on the show and loved it even more live. He really knows how to put on a show and I loved every minute of it. Slow Ride with Allison was incredible as well.
