People That I Dislike but Many Seem to Like:
Katharine McPhee. Honestly, I just don't get it. She's really pretty, but talent-wise she doesn't come close to lots of others IMO. Danny Gokey. He's mad talented, but his personality was a huge turn-off. --------------------

I love Elliott and Anoop but I think most like these two so....
Those I like, but most dislike: John Stevens Sanjaya--not that I think he's that talented but I think people are weighing his talent down more than it deserves--he does have a nice tone but he lacks dynamism in his singing...and he doesn't take himself seriously (which can be both a good thing and a bad thing) Ruben--don't know if he's disliked that much in here but I think he has one of the best voices ever to come out of AI--really reminds me of Luther... Those I dislike, but most like Michael Johns Carly Kellie Pickler Kat McPhee Daughtry Alexis Grace-really didn't like it when she heeded the judges' calls to "dirty" herself up-felt that wasn't her... Adam--not that I dislike him--I'm sort of indifferent to him--which is way below the level of "adoration" many in this board seem to place so.... --------------------

Who I'm indifferent to but most like :
Kris Allen : He's very popular here. I love him as a person but I can't stand his singing voice. Adam Lambert : I was a huge Adam fan during season 8 but now I'm completly indifferent to him... I recently watched his American Idol performances again. I only enjoyed about 4 of his performances (I used to love everything he did on the show) and his singing voice annoyed me quite often which surprised me. I don't read the Adam news anymore and I have no intention of buying his CD when it comes out. To be honest, that's what always happens with my favorite contestants though : I get over them fast. David Cook is the only exception. I still love David as much as I did during season 7. --------------------
David Cook is by far my favorite American Idol Contestant ever.
