Why I should sell:
-it sounds really long and I don't really have much interesting in listening to all the duets and blah and blah
-I don't want to be surrounded by screaming tweens on the floor

I hear you. After seeing the rehearsal on Thursday (not dress), these two reasons really blared out for me too, plus that I would have to sit through most of the contestants I never watched on the show anyway. I mean, the rehearsal just from Anoop to Adam was 5 hours long (with 30 minutes for lunch). I don't know how they're going to pack them all into a regular concert schedule. Granted, some had to rehearse a song twice. Even so, there's a lot of songs to get through. I thought that by the time Danny got through his set at the concert, I would be insane from the screaming and waiting. So I sold my tickets. Glad I did. Rehearsal was enough for me (and no screamers!) But I would recommend you keep yours and go, if it's the only time you're going to see them live. It really is worth it to hear them sing live and see them up close (taller and skinnier than on TV!).

I wanted to arrive at the arena at SIX, and my mom had to go to these stupid waterfalls so we didn't get there until 7:30ish Only to find emptyness & no one there So of course we left and went to the fireworks. AFTER we left, I saw Analia's update that you guys were inside and I wanted to cry!!! Oh well, i'll be there tomorrow 10:30 sharp What time are you getting there?

Awwww that sucks. As far as the time we're getting to the venue, plans have changed a bit and some things are still up in the air, so we're not sure. Early though!

So we do or don't need songs?

In all honesty, ALL of their sets were great. For me, Scott's was the only one that was a bit of a snoozer, but he did a Keane song I really like. Even Michael and Megan were enjoyable for me, and Lil was a very pleasant surprise as to how entertaining she was. She got everyone dancing. Anoop's vocals were mind-blowingly incredible - I got chills. Matt was amazing, totally funky white boy, dancing, playing piano, singing while standing and playing piano AND dancing all at the same time...AWESOME. Allison was also incredible - vocals just out of this world, and her dancing was adorable. Danny was surprisingly (for me) good. His voice sounded so strong compared to his performances on the show, and his dancing was a lot more smooth and less awkward. Adam was indescribably UH-MAAAAAAAAAAZING. Seriously, I was just in complete awe. His vocals were clear, strong, and IMPECCABLE and his performance...guh. Some of those moves left me about to melt into a pool of Abdul. It's hard to put into words really, you just have to see it for yourself. Kris was solid, strong, and very enjoyable. A great selection of songs (Bright Lights, Hey Jude) except No Boundaries (but that obviously wasn't a choice) and he really engaged the crowd during Hey Jude. The group songs were well-harmonized and coordinated. I loved Don't Stop Believing - lots of Kradam interaction at the end. Pretty much a really great show...I can't wait to see it again and from the same front row seats.

Interesting that the first three only get 2 songs...
was the first group song very long? did each individual get to sing a lot, or was it mostly in a group?

Before dress rehearsal, we met Michael, Matt, Lil, Allison, Anoop, and Danny, and then after everything was over and we were walking back to the hotel, we literally ran into Michael, Matt, Danny, and KRIS on the street. I'm so glad I got to talk to Kris and get a picture, he's so nice, so little, so gracious, so...everything good. ALL of them were absolute sweethearts.
