adamlvr and myself have decided that the more mature ladies (and men, if you'd like) need a place to chat.
So, introduce yourselves... don't be shy! I am Anne. I am 37 (38 next month), married, no kids. I've watched Idol since just before the end of the 1st season and tend to get pretty wrapped up each year. I LOVED Clay Aiken, S3 I didn't care for anyone, S4 was Constantine, S5 was a mixed bag (Taylor, Kat, Elliot), S6 I liked Blake (Seattle boy!), S7 I was (and still am) obsessed with Michael Johns. Hubby does not watch, but supports my Idol habit. Next! --------------------

What's up, y'all? I'm Paula, and I'm 33 years old from Windsor, Ontario. Yes, that is me in my icon - don't look 33, do I? I'm a substitute teacher at a day care, and I also work at a hardware store. No kids, never been married.
I've been watching Idol through the years, and my faves have been Nikki McKibbin (s1), Kimberly Caldwell (s2), Lisa Leuschner (s3 - I'm even thanked in her thank you's of her Reality album!), Constantine Maroulis (s4), Chris Daughtry (s5), Blake Lewis & Haley Scarnato (s6), and Jason Castro, Brooke White, and Kristy Lee Cook (s7). Thanks for making a thread for us "older" skanks! (Even though I'm quite young a heart)
My name is Ashley, aka Ash, and I'm 32 years old. I live in Columbia, SC (down south where the folks are friendly. hehe). I'm single with no children, but do hope to one day have my own family. I've been an American Idol junkie since episode 1 of season 1. I LOVE Kelly Clarkson and so proud that she got her second #1 album last week. Season 2, I fell in love with Clay Aiken and still love that man, but SUUUUURE wish he would get his tail back in the recording studio. I miss that beautiful voice. Season 3 was forgetful for me. I didn't like anybody. Season 4, I was crushing on Anthony Fedorov, but have since lost touch with what he's doing. Season 5, Ace was my favorite and I'm SOOOO bummed I can't see AI Extra this season because he's cohosting AND I want see ALL the Adam goodness I can! Like the OP, I loved Blake on season 6 and anticipating his next album as we speak, err um, type. I've been to see the Idol tour 3 times. I went season 3 only because I got free tickets. I went season 5 to see Ace! And I went to season 6 to see Blake. I was on the 3rd row for that show and got great Blake pictures! Last year, I like David Hernandez, but sadly he wasn't on the show very long and no longer rooted for anybody else. He didn't make the tour, so I didn't care about going. And obviously, I LOOOOOOOVE ADAM LAMBERT! That fine speciman of a man! I sooooo hope to be able to see the tour this time because he's going to kill it! I'm 33 too, I'm from southern Sweden and a single mother of an 8 year old daughter (who loves Adam too). I'm currently studying to be an assistant nurse. Been following AI since season 6 (and Swedish Idol since season 1, and also a couple seasons of CI.). I thought I'd never have a bigger favourite than Blake - I was wrong! Hi...I'm Alicia and not quite 30 yet...but turn the big "30" this year. Glad you started this thread.
