___________ is top 36, But 'Who' exactly is Nick Western? Options

The only real "Unknown contestant" is one that goes by the name NICK WESTERN sometimes. I've been assuming that Nick Western is Nick Hendrix....but what if it is Nick Mitchell.... a.k.a. Norman Gentle?

Could it be that "Nick Western" doesn't even exist? Maybe the top 36 list isn't 100% accurate. I'm just slighty skeptical. Do we even know that "Nate McGee" is really "Nate Marshall"? Sorry, I can't help but have reservations this year. I mostly trust the list, but I have my doubts. It was easier last year because I had actually talked to the contestant that was JP's source, and s/he confirmed with me. This year it seems to be a mysterious email sent to VFTW. And how in the world would they know someone's email, but not their last name?

I'm hoping for "Norman Gentle" myself. They sure are showing him enough. A lot of "what would happen if you start taking this seriously?" comments from the judges. The show seems to be setting up a character arc.

I think it is norman gentle, since the producers need some contestants who, they know for sure, do not have great chances to go through the next round (e.g garreth heally - mind the spelling) in order to secure the top 12 places for the contestants that they like. And norman gentle is a perfect candidate for that.

I think it is norman gentle, since the producers need some contestants who, they know for sure, do not have great chances to go through the next round (e.g garreth heally - mind the spelling) in order to secure the top 12 places for the contestants that they like. And norman gentle is a perfect candidate for that.

I think Norman Gentle would have a much better chance of getting to top 12 than Nick Hendrix because he's gotten a lot of screen time and contestants like him are popular. If they don't show Nick H. at all and it turns out that he's Nick Western, then that would be much more of a Garrett 2.0.

I think it's normal gentle because for one during last nights show, remember how he said "Time to change my name" when he was by the dumpster taking off that shirt? Well maybe he changed his name again to Nick Western...ie Nick out West on Idol? LOL

I have no favorites this year but if he is on the show, he will be about the only entertainment I will have. I'm hoping it is him.


EDIT TO ADD: Maybe American Idol doesn't have Nick Mitchell (aka Norman Gentle)listed under any name because he keeps changing it and I think by air time when he is announced as one of the 36 AI will have him listed as Nick Western

I will be so annoyed if Norman Gentile is in the top 36. Even though he can sing, he is not even remotely as good as 90% of the top 36. People will vote for him and I will be annoyed!
