Ultimate Idol, Top 3 Results; Winner Revealed Options

Welcome to the Ultimate Idol, a new game featuring all eighty-two finalists from American Idol to date. In this game, it is up to us, the voters, to choose which of those eighty-two finalists is the ultimate contestant to grace the Idol stage.

In this game, two contestants from each season will automatically move ahead to our finals round, and the following two vote getters from each season will move to our semi-final round, where the rest of our Top 24 will be determined (that top twenty-four consists of two from each season, eight from the semi-final round and two wildcards).

This is our final results show for this season of Ultimate Idol. There are thee contestants awaiting to find out if they are, indeed, the "Ultimate Idol" of 2008. For the last round's voting session, you were asked to vote on where each contestant should be placed. Every vote cast as the winner would give the contestant 350 points, while a vote cast for second gave them 100 points, and a vote cast for them to be eliminated gave them no points.

Thank God. David beating Carrie is ridiculous enough, but if he had won I would question this forum's tastes even more. Kelly absolutely deserved to win, and I'm glad people recognized her talent, instead of giving it to David since he is the freshest in everyone's mind. Most recent does not necessarily equal most talented, people. Remember that.

Hmmm...I wouldn't have minded if David Cook won, tbh, but Kelly obviously deserved it. Carrie should've beaten David, but I really don't mind her being in third. Actually, I really like all three of them, so whatever order, I wouldn't really care too much

I think Melinda, Elliott and Kelly should've been the top three and Melinda should've won, but between the three people we got in the finale, I'm glad with the order that happened.

As for the top 3 that we have, I would have prefer Carrie to get the runner-up.

As opposed to most of the other contestants on the show? Kelly can sing a ton of diverse genres - pop, rock, country, big band, etc. - and if it wasn't for her, Idol likely wouldn't have had the success it had.

Wow she sounds really good! I didn't see her on idol but non of her singles were good.
