 At last round's vote count, it was revealed that Paris Bennett was the lowest vote-getter. Welcome to the American Idol 5 Completely Fair Re-Do Competition! This competition celebrates the amazing talent of the American Idol 5 Top 12. I personally believe AI5 to have had one of the strongest group of finalists to date, and so many have gone on to have great success. But the question still ponders - did the right person win that year? This competition is set to answer that question - who do YOU think should have won Season 5 of American Idol? The competition will work a la American Idol, where the lowest vote-getter leaves us each round, until just 1 is left standing. However, what makes this competition different, and completely fair is the following: Each round, the vote totals are carried forward round after round. So, every single vote cast in the competition will work towards crowning the winner! Your Top 5 finalists remain standing. Who do you think should be crowned the winner of American Idol 5? Chris Daughtry Elliott Yamin Katharine McPhee Kellie Pickler Mandisa      Remember: every single vote cast since the first Top 12 round is being carried forward round after round The Voting Method Quite simply, you are choosing your 1 favourite contestant, and giving them your vote in the above poll. You are voting for the contestant who you most want to see win the competition. Each 1 vote cast for any contestant will count as 150 votes, and will be added to their current total. PLEASE VOTE ABOVE IN THE POLL - ANY THING WRITTEN BELOW THIS POST WILL NOT BE COUNTED AS VOTES. You are obviously free to write anything you want below this post, you can reveal who you voted for if you like, but just make sure you cast your vote in the above poll. Voting will be open for a few days. On Thursday 19th December 2008 @ idolforums time @ 8am, voting will close. All the votes will be added up, and will be added to the each contesant's current vote total. The 4 contestants who have the highest number of votes will move on to the next finals round - the Top 4. The 1 contestant who has the lowest number of votes will be eliminated from the competition, and will be out of the running. They will finish in 5th place.
