Second single?, Thoughts? Options

Anybody heard anything about a second single? I do believe that FMOS has peaked and is headed south after a good run for 4 months.

I think the next single needs to be broadly palatable and include more conservative stations that stay away, almost as a rule, from the 15MOS type songs. The kind of stations that you just know it's killing them to have to play Taylor Swift. I just hope a lot of the stations that didn't play 15MOS are willing to give each song and artist a chance and not prejudge them based on what reality shows they may or may not have been on.

LMMD is suggested because, on Kristy's main playlist at MySpace, it went from being only a snippet to the full track. Either it's next, or it's just a technical mistake they introduced at MySpace. Also, the CD sticker says "includes '15 Minutes of Shame' and 'Like My Mother Does'" so it's probably planned to be a single at some point. Not the strongest of evidence, but it makes sense also from the point of view of going from uptempo playful song to serious ballad.

Plus, it's a Liz Rose song and I doubt this was one of the songs that were "comped". It has to be a single. (Doesn't it? )

Sounds like a good rationale. Plus, if it's a hit, Carrie can be Kristy's savior! However, if LMMD will ever be a single it'll be the next one, considering Mothers' Day is in May. They couldn't pass up making mummies happy on their Day, could they? COULD THEY?!?! How heartless.


I believe it was near the end of October or early November at one of the radio stations that Kristy said something like "Based on the feedback we've been getting, Not Tonight will probably be a single." The feedback was probably from the radio station people. And presumably the ones who were getting the feedback included the label. So maybe it'll be "the one Carrie wrote."

I'm guessing it'll be LMMD then NT but I'm terrible at singles prediction so ignore me.

I was very dissapointed that there was no 2nd single but hopefully if we are lucky she will get signed to some other label that will support her and make her the huge hit she deserves to be!
