Hmm...I don't really know anything about codes for layouts...haha I just know how to make graphics

If you're setting up a proper site with news and all, it'll have to be updated quite regularly...you'll have to be on the lookout for news every day I guess..and yeah I think you need to pay to set up a nice and proper site(for those .com/.net sites I think)...for the bandwidth and stuff? And if you're gonna have a forum, you'll need to find a host if I'm not mistaken?

Whereas with a blog, well people can read about your personal connection with David's music and stuff... something like noting David maybe?

So anyway,i signed up and I really wanted to set up a website for the msian archies but I kept putting it off cos I was still busy with exams and all.Anyway,Im still thinking of setting up one..but I really aint sure what kinda site to set up..whether it'll be a site like FB or just like a simple blog site.The thing is if i were to set up a proper website,I would really need help(alot of help lol) to do the layout,moderate the site,and stuff like that.Cos i really have noo idea abt setting up websites.I did a tiny research abt it last time and apparantly funds are needed to set up a proper website but i aint too sure. Where else if its just a blog, i can use wordpress or blogspot which its much easier to set up and stuff. So i dont know..what do you guys think? I'll definitely need volunteers who can help me out though cos i wont be able to do everythg alone hahah.and I also had second thoughts abt it cos i'm not too sure abt how well those blogs will do but if its helpful for david's career,definitely i dont mind doing it. I've seached and couldnt find any Malaysian David site. Plus I am excited to know how many Archies in Malaysia

My thoughts....
1) I am a volunteer anytime! Just tell me what I can do, girl. But I'm not a technical person. I am a number person so I can't really help much with tech stuff but I am an extremely QUICK learner for anything David. I also can consult my IT friend.
2) For the time being, I think a blogspot/wordpress (as you have listed) is a good way to start off - something like fanblast and get it linked as part of the international network. It is easier to maintain. We then can expand it to a website or forum when the army has grown
3) Regarding the vibe/content of blog/site, while it's all and everything about David, we can make it more Malaysian??
4) The alternative is we go with flutterbybliss - ASIAN fansite - sounds like a good way too. You can have the different countries in there too.

Ooooooooo.....this is exciting. Guys, lets discuss and see where this leads us...at least we don't worry about the thread being buried and lost....on a side note, this thread ROCKS, it's on the first page most of the time. Actually, this is the only place I post coz I am a great lurker. But, guys, more of you need to post, we love to see your posts,

From the MyFox raw interview and the exact moment when suddenly he was made to realized that he came a full circle - from attending 2 AI concerts (season 1 & 3) to being part of the entourage - FULL CIRCLE and that's when he said "I NEVER REALLY thought about it....(pondered)....WOW". You can see him mouthing "WOW", can't you? Adorable boy, ain't he?

Hey I think it's a great idea to have a dedicated M'sian/Asian site for fans of David Archuleta. I remember reading the comments in Fanblast that there is an Indonesian site for fans there. So yeah we should put our heads together and come up with our own. I'd like to help though I'm not savvy at all when it comes to websites. You young 'uns can run rings around me

A site like LovngArchie or Fanblast or even Fans Of David would be ideal but I think they would be pretty expensive to set up / maintain as you would need advertising revenues and/or donations to keep it going. Maybe a blog like NotingDavid would suffice to begin with. I wouldn't know what is the cost of setting up a blog. Maybe we can all share in the expenses? A blog would mean that one or some of you would need to post your writings quite often or else the sites just gonna be

Anyway, perhaps you guys can contact www.fansofdavid.com and see if asians can have a page there? FOD is run by Richard (a friend of David)and the original group of ppl from FB.

hahaha!!its a rule worth breaking for david yeap thats the number!Keep tryinggg!!you never know,they might call you up for love it/shove it and get you to intro crush but u have to register at flyfm's website first before you sms them.


So guys..this is basically the few options we have regarding the website..i guess if any,we'll start with a blog first rather than a proper site.so here are the options:

1) A blog(example: notingdavid.org,everythingdavid.wordpress.com,davidarchuletaidol.blogspot.com) just for msian archies
2) A blog for msian and sporean archies
3) Join in rachel's upcoming Asian site
4) Join FOD(have a page there if we can)
5) any other suggestions?

so how should we do this? Take a vote? hmm.
