So I take it her earlier books are better than Predator? Predator was the first and only of Cornwell's books I tried and I could only get through about 50 pages. I found the present-tense writing incredibly distracting and the story hard to follow. fear.gif I'd give her a chance with a different book, though.

Anyway, some favorites of mine are Kurt Vonnegut, J.K. Rowling, Ruth Rendell, Ursula K. LeGuin, Tolkien, Terry Brooks, and Elizabeth George. I find it hard to pick just one.
