Two of my fave male singers David Archuleta & Jason Mraz Can't believe Jason Mraz is so low on that list...I really can't. Then again, I'm not that familiar w/ those other singers either. Not my generation. I just call good singing when I hear it. Not the least bit "musically-knowledgeable" in any way.

I'm really grateful to these two...cause w/o them and some other really decent artists out there, think I would've gone nuts long ago w/ Bieber and C. Simpson, and shot myself in the head.

Anyhow, for those interested and maybe have some spare time...

Here's two of Jason Mraz's performances that have WOWed and made me . He's really somethin special, imo. The things he can do with his voice...!

Do you guys consider emotional input too? David Archuleta ranks high on my list for best male singers, and even higher for emotional input in live performances, passion...whatever you call it. He moves me.

And this one - he really excels with power ballads. Peeps in the US definitely won't be familiar with this, unless of course you follow him.

Glad he didn't restrain his runs in this one as he does in most of his performances, which is good I think. There is more to singing than just proving you can perform vocal gymnastic with ease. But in this one, def appropriate, and nicely reminiscent of the original version by South Border.

All I can say is...tone & manipulation.

My favorite album from David, hands down, is 'Christmas From The Heart'.

His voice + Christmas music = pure goodness. Get a me a warm blanket and some hot choco!

His voice is so "warm" yet "cold" at the same time.

Anyone get me with voices and temps? I think Kris Allen's voice has a "cold" quality, from what I heard in his Idol performances. I like it
