It is sad that her friends and family don't realize that doing drugs will kill Jess like it did her mother....
I am glad she has to be in rehab for a year in another state hopefully she will realize how much drugs have really hurt her.

Jessica may be her own worst enemy, but this girl is not far behind. Here is someone who is supposed to be Jessica's good friend talking about how she'd have no problem dragging Jessica right back down even after she gets out of rehab. It's amazing how quick "friends" are to encourage those who are trying to escape their troubled past to crawl back into the gutter with them.

I now understand what Dr. Drew Pinsky meant when he said that he and others who worked with Jessica in her initial rehab were worried that she would relapse when she had to go back to Florida for her court date in the first arrest. Obviously - duh! - they were right. I realize this girl is undoubtedly suffering from her own addiction and doesn't have the help on offer that Jessica has had BUT it's also obvious this girl has no desire whatsoever to get help anyway! She thinks it's all a joke and doesn't care that Jessica once had an actual future...probably because she herself has never had one.

And why is Jessica's sister - even though she really doesn't say anything bad - talking to TMZl?! The logic of that escapes me....

Jessica's best bet at a life worth living, as opposed to more run ins with the police, prison time, and/or an early death, is to steer not only away from her old friends but also to stay away from her hometown.

Edited to add: I think it's actually good that that link was posted. It shows why it was so difficult for Jessica not to relapse. Recovery is difficult enough when surrounded by sober and supportive friends and family; it must be pretty near impossible if the opposite is true. Hopefully Jessica eventually comes to realize that the only friends she can have now are ones who will encourage her to do good and legal things - like sing! - instead of getting high, railing against authority, and generally degrading herself.

because i thought people would want to see it, thats why. it just shows how her friends are not helping her at all. if its such a problem, i can remove it and replace it with a youtube video that will just hide the facts or truth about jessica.

no I just meant her friends are not helping her, making matters worse actually, I could never bring someone down that I cared about. That's not friendship.
She even went out with her when she was on probation to a bar - my friends would have never let me anywhere near a public bar. I know I am a recovering alcoholic/addict.
I hate anyone giving the porn tape promoter advertising and thats what that video is and ad for the tape....
and the fact that her friend and sister even speak to that sleaze bag just sickens me.
I want Jess to get help and go back to singing she has a gift that most people do not have, and it is such a shame. I just want the best for her....too bad everyone doesn't

I think I may need to step away from this for awhile, she was my favorite idol ever, I even tattoo'd her autograph on my shoulder, I am obviously too emotionally involved in this.

sorry if I offended you I was just not happy about giving any more publicity to the promoter of the smut tape.

u didnt offend me at all...i think its really messed up of her friends to let her go back to a bar when she just came back from rehab and to do drugs with her. and the way her sister just takes it as a joke, if shes ever going to recover she needs to get away from tampa and around people that can help her move forward without the drinking and drugs...
