If you're reading something great or have read something really good in the past, suggest it original.gif I'm always on the lookout for a new, great novel.

I guess I'll start. I loved Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell.

Well, I will always have to suggest to whoever hasn't read the Harry Potter series to do so grin.gif

Also, if you love dogs, I read this great book by John Grogan a while ago called "Marley and Me".

Any book by Isabel Allende. Great author.

I'm reading that right now. It's terrifying, really.

I've never heard of Wally Lamb, actually.

its pretty intense stuff..in 'shes come undone' he writes from the perspective of a girl throughout her life (from when she was really young until shes in her 30s i believe?) and a lot of tragic things happen to her, so its kind of a downer in that way..but the thing that amazes me is how well he captured the character, even though he isnt female original.gif

I just read "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Piccoult. It's totally a chick book, but it was good. Terribly depressing, but good. tongue.gif
