If you're reading something great or have read something really good in the past, suggest it
I guess I'll start. I loved Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. -------------------- ![]() Thanks to Alexa for the blend! |

Well, I will always have to suggest to whoever hasn't read the Harry Potter series to do so
Also, if you love dogs, I read this great book by John Grogan a while ago called "Marley and Me". Any book by Isabel Allende. Great author. This post has been edited by mariami: Jan 21st 2008, 3:00 PM -------------------- ![]() |

I've never heard of Wally Lamb, actually. What kind of stuff does he tend to write? its pretty intense stuff..in 'shes come undone' he writes from the perspective of a girl throughout her life (from when she was really young until shes in her 30s i believe?) and a lot of tragic things happen to her, so its kind of a downer in that way..but the thing that amazes me is how well he captured the character, even though he isnt female -------------------- ![]() thanks alyssa!||formerly jultrencarkimcharclayrub |

I just read "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Piccoult. It's totally a chick book, but it was good. Terribly depressing, but good.
