Mitt Romney Supporters!, Strong, New Leadership Options

John McCain endorsed Romney today in New Hampshire.

Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- John McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, endorsed Mitt Romney to be the party’s standard bearer in 2012, lining up today behind a former rival he defeated in New Hampshire’s primary four years ago.

McCain, the Arizona senator who won New Hampshire’s primary in 2000 and 2008, announced his support a day after Romney won the Iowa caucuses by just eight votes over former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. Romney, a former governor in neighboring Massachusetts, is pressing to win New Hampshire’s Jan. 10 primary by a margin big enough to put him on the path to the nomination.

“I am really here for one reason and one reason only, and that is to make sure that we make Mitt Romney the next president of the United States of America,” McCain told voters gathered in a Manchester, New Hampshire, high school gym. “New Hampshire is the state that will catapult him on to victory in a very short period of time.”

I don't hate Romney or anything, but LAWDY, Gingrich is a god-awful human being. Just the worst I can imagine in politics - almostly amoral and unethical. Sheesh.

It would be dumb for the GOP to nominate Gingrich. It would be lobotomy-level to nominate Santorum.

Romney is the only one that has a fighting chance to beat Obama...and that's still a very small chance.

yes it will be hard for Mitt to win, since the media loves Obama and will only tell you one side of everything to make sure hes re-elected.
The ONLY reason the jobless rate is going down is cause moist people just stopped looking for jobs and they are not counted. The media doesn't tell you that do they.

Actually I've been hearing since both of the recessions that occurred under the last administration.

So I went to a Mitt rally today! He was in Birmingham at my boyfriends dad's work. I got VIP seating pretty much and afterwards got to shake his hand and get a photo op/autograph. I know there aren't many Romney supporters here but I'm dying to share this with everyone. I've followed him since the first time he ran so it was cool to finally tell him he has my support and that I get to vote for him Tuesday!

I know I'm a nerd...I'm SHOCKED that my boyfriend agreed to go with me and help me get close to him. He's not really into politics at all. He did say that after seeing him today that he wouldn't mind him being president...and coming from him that says a LOT! I know Romney probably won't win but it is still cool that I met possibly the next president of the United States.

Just hope that anti-Romney people will jump on the wagon and vote for him as well if/when he is the nominee.

I honestly think they will, that's why I wish they would just give up already. Since it's mostly the teaparty extreme conservatives that aren't on his side yet.....I just can't see them voting for Obama over him. Possibly independents...but Romney's doing pretty well amongst them and also women.

For all the negativity, he's still the strongest candidate Republicans have this time around. Santorum doesn't stand a chance. Hopefully in the next month or so, Mitt clinches this thing so we can move on with the real race. It's going to be so exciting!

Last poll I saw had Romney down by double-digits among women against Obama, and losing independents something like 50%-42%.

Could easily change, though.
