Anyways I heard that Robert Pattinson(the guy who played Cedric Diggory in the 4th HP movie) is gonna play Edward & he is gorgeous so Im excited!!!

You should read them ASAP, but start at the beg of the day cause I started late and was up till 5 am, cause I had to finish them

Yeah he's playing edward for sure, I'm so excited cause I loved him in HP, and was so sad when he died

I just read Twilight the other day to make my coworker stop begging me to read it... It was great, and now I want the sequels. That's awesome that they're making a movie - the whole time I was reading it I was thinking how they should make a movie so I could go see it lol.

Edit; I just checked out the two actors, though... the girl definitely looks just like how I imagined Bella but definitely NOT the guy. I think they could have gotten someone better.

Don't worry your not alone, lots of people agree, I think the best for Edward is Gaspard Ulliel, pictures, he even autiditioned for the part, but he was over the age limit
But I think you should give Robert a chance, he might surprise everyone

I've heard so many people talking about the books and even more now that there's a movie in the making. When I get the time I'll order the first book, see if I like it.

I read the first one and I only liked a little bit (when Bella was on the run ... er yeah I won't give that away). I thought the rest was boring and I didn't really like her writing style.

But I'll probably give the rest of them a shot, they're really popular among my friends.

I've never read them, but I probably will now so I know what's going on in the movie since Robert's in it, it's a must see I bet that was a big factor in them casting Robert, he's a pretty famous guy to teenagers and fantasy lovers.

Now, I guess I could read back to see what everyone thinks but I'm just a bit lazy ..
What does everybody think about the casting so far?

I just read the book, so I already knew Robert was being casted as Edward and pictured him for all Edward's parts at the beginning of the book .. but then when the book progressed, I forgot about that image and pictured Edward totally differently.

But I guess Robert could make a good Edward .. we'll have to see.

I love Twilight! I typically love every book I read, but whatever. I actually am really impressed with the casting choices thus far. They picked two people who can actually ACT. They could've done a Blood & Chocolate or The Convenant thing and just picked people for looks.

I think the casting was alright, but they could have done a better job. I'm sure that Robert and Kirstin will do a good job though. It's too bad that you saw Robert before you read the book, cause it was nice to have my own image of Edward before I knew what they thought he should look like.
I know a few people who say they won't see the movie no matter who they cast, because their image of Edward and Bella and the whole book, can't be put into a movie.
I've never read a book before seeing the movie on film so I'm curious and I think it will be interesting

Nooooo Robert Pattinson is playing Edward!!??! I dont think thats a very good pick. I like the guy but I just dont think he fits the description of Edward. But then again I dont think anyone really does. This is why Im very skeptical of the movie Im afraid its going to ruin the books for me. I do think they did a good job casting Bella though.
