i really dont even like the guy. HSM is the stupidest thing ive ever seen, but i keep seeing magazine covers that say either he's dating the girl from Hairspray, or the girl from high school musical. and im really annoyed and confused... anybody know which one he's really dating?

But they've been dating since last year, and the Hawaii photos just came out this year, so I guess they're just more comfortable going out in public places now since their relationship is already out in the open. Plus, they actually don't want the attention on their relationship. Zac (tries) to avoid questions about his personal relationship with Vanessa, and Vanessa even said in an interview that it's "bizarre" and "weird to know that people actually care" about them.

Zac, whom we interviewed separately, politely refused to answer a colleague’s request for him to talk about his personal relationship with Vanessa.

How hard is it to have a relationship with Zac, especially since the two of you are so much in the limelight because of the success of “High School Musical”?

I am a private person. I always have been. I love keeping my personal life to myself so we just try not to talk about it that much. We have a professional relationship on camera and outside of that is bizarre when you see pictures from the paparazzi and everything. But you just have to take it the best you can. There’s really nothing you can do about it. People are interested because they love what you’re doing. So I guess in a way it’s a compliment.

That's what they meant. They meant that Zac would prefer skinny girls (Vanessa) over bigger girls (like the girl from hairspray)

i dont think making out on a beach in hawaii is very disney. plus, zanessa is very private about their relationship, the tabloids & magazines are the ones who make them very public.

The thing is, many Hollywood couples aren't private, so that's yet another thing that's kind of odd to me. But, we can both believe what we want. It doesn't hurt either one of us.
