I've been to every single Idols Live, and I just saw this years show in St. Paul last Saturday. Now I loved LaKisha on the show, but she def. wasn't my favorite. And while the song is TOTALLY cliched.... her performance of "I Will Always Love You" on tour was certainly one of the best tour performances of any contestant, from any season. It was note for note perfection. She milked the long pause before the key change and the audience was eating out of the palm of her hand. She looked gorgeous. It was just pure perfection! I'm def. a super fan now!

tell me about it! i shook my head in disbelief during the whole thing. it was just STUNNING. she got a standing ovation in toronto(and eveyrwhere else!). just amazing!
ms. jones doin the damn thing!  i told her when i met her backstage that she was awesome. she thanks me and tells me i'm very pretty. wha? did she just say that? she tells ME she thinks i'm pretty! ahhhh! thanks lakisha!!!!    --------------------

Thanks so much for sharing and for posting your pictures of LaKisha. As of Des Moines, Iowa concert, LaKisha's standing ovation has not been broken; she's gotten it at every concert stop. LaKisha Jones was under-rated and criticized for song choice throughout AI6 but 'aint' no one criticizing her now - You Go Girl.  --------------------
