Carrie Underwood Downplays Weight Loss “American Idol” Carrie Underwood is all grown up, and she's showing some leg on the May cover of Cosmopolitan magazine. In the mag, the blonde bombshell and former sorority girl downplays her weight loss following her “Idol” days, insisting she didn’t starve herself. Instead, Underwood contends, she dropped a few pounds thanks to eating right and dieting. Now on the top of the music industry, Carrie also opened up about her love life. “I’m not saying I want to get married tomorrow, but I’d like to have someone other than my mom to call when I have good news,” she dished.
