See I'm different I'm only doing 100. lol
So welcome to my countdown of my 100 fave performances of RS:SN. Why only 100 you ask ? 'cos I'm lazy. lol. There were some performances I didn't want to waste my time typing about and some that just didn't make the list 'cos 100 is quite a limited number. Anyway, I think my countdown is gonna be really interesting, because you never know who or whta will be #1 till the very end, 'cos there'll always be 49 performances that won't make it. And I assure you, my countdown has more shocking placements than all the other countdowns put together. You will rejoyce, faint, scream, get mad, cry and everything inbetween, as some fan-favourites don't even make my list and other nutoriously bad performances crack my top 50. Yaay, so let's go. Coming up: 100-96 -A Performance many people wanted to enjoy the silence on - Nirvana - The first original on my list - two appearances by an underrated rocker -------------------- ![]() |

yaay. I have audience. lol
So anyway, I'm just about to start, but there's some interesting facts I noticed: - 3 rockers make 0 appearances on my list - people who love Magni, Lukas, Josh, Jill, Jenny and Toby will hate me forever and always after this (the Toby lovers maybe not so much) - this was hard. lol -------------------- ![]() |

I would like to take this moment to say I noticed that damn ugly typo in my topic title. lol
Alright, Let's Go ! 100. Ryan Star - Enjoy The Silence :: Week 6 (Top 10 - Elimination) ![]() I know this performance is really unpopular and I'm slowly beginning to not like it anymore. The first time I heard it I thought woo-hoo. lol Because I like the song and it sounded sorta different but still similar to the original. And now I dunno why this is here, darned maybe I shoulda put "Psycho Killer" here instead (I'm serious, lol. That's how freaky my countdown is gonna be) 99. Josh Logan - Come As You Are :: Week 3 (Top 13 - Performance) ![]() After all that drama during song choice I expected Josh to kill with this. I thought he was gonna prove to all of them that he was the person for the song. but it just was nothing special. 98. Patrice Pike - Instant Karma :: Week 6 (Top 10 - Performance) ![]() I know many people loved this performance a whole lot. But I found Patrice had so much better, I have never really liked this performance, but I never hated it either. I loved her look though. 97. Dilana - Supersoul :: Week 11 (Top 4 - Performance) ![]() It's no secret I love Dilana. I loved her throughout the show and I have not stopped loving her. Maybe she has personality issues, but I don't hate her for it. The only thing about her that really stunk for me was her song writing "skills". Although this is the absolute high point of any of Dilana's lyrics throughout the show, I wish she would've left out some of the cheese and rocked a bit harder. 96. Patrice Pike - Message In A Bottle :: Week 7 (Top 8 - Performance) ![]() I have to say that I loved her vocal on this and the stage presence, but the song is just ZZzzzzzZZZzzzz for me. What you can expect from 95 - 90 ??? - One of the "pop princesses" rocks it. hardcore ! - A Performance from the last performance show - Another Original - And more. lmao I suck at clues. -------------------- ![]() |

And more. lmao I suck at clues. Anyone doing anything. OMG how'd you know ??? lol Anyway, moving on with the countdown: 95. Dana Andrews - High Road Easy :: Week 3 (Top 13 - Elimination) ![]() *crowd gasps* I know I'm gonna get shot now, and not many people will agree with this placing. Seeing as it is the performance where Dana took the "Born To Be Mild" comment and shoved it up their arses. I never felt I connected with this performance, I'm not saying Dana can't rock (which she proved in a lot of other performances), I just feel that it was more of a desperate attempt to impress than just a cool move telling them to shove it. 94. Lukas Rossi - Fix You :: Week 11 (Top 4 - Performance) ![]() Wow, one shock after the other, huh ? I'm starting to like this performance now, but I just didn't get it the first time round, I thought it was just so out of place. But I'm trying to create a balance between how I felt about a performance when I first saw it, right now and everything in between. 93. Jill Gioia - All Right Now :: Week 3 (Top 13 - Performance) ![]() I know a lot of people like this performance, but I so did not. I love this song, and my favourite version of this was posted by some IDF member who posted a recording of herself singing this once. And it just blew me away, Jill on the other hand was more rock than that girl, but she totally ruined the song for me. I thought it was beautifully unfitting to her voice and although she was really good vocally I don't think she did as good as she could've done. 92. Magni - When The Time Comes :: Week 11 (Top 4 - Performance) ![]() Wow, I think everybody is gonna stop reading my countdown after this, but in all honesty I thought Magni's and Tobys originals both sounded so much worse in the top 4 night, than in top 5 night. It was just seriously like "alright, been there, done that". In all honesty it's not a song I would buy and listen to over and over again. But hey, I put it above Dilana's original....... 91. Lukas Rossi - Let's Spend The Night Together :: Week 3 (Top 13 - Performance) ![]() Apparantly I thought Week 3 was a bad performance night. lol I'm no Lukas fan. and this just wasn't one of his strongest. That's all I have to say. 90. Josh Logan - She Talks To Angels :: Week 1 (Top 15 - Performance) ![]() As the show went on I started to like Josh a bit, but I found it hard to like him after his the first 3 weeks or so, especially after this performance, which was one of the not-so-memorable performances of an amazing opening night. He was totally overshadowed by the others and I seriously couldn't remember who he was for the life of me. Just really average. Soooooooo..... now that I've made many more people hate me. here's what you can expect from #'s 89 - 86: - The "pop-er" everyone thought was gonna make her appearance just now, makes her first appearance) - And 3 more SHOCKERS: *A performance from week 2 *A much loved performance from the last performance show *and even though Mommy's alright and Daddy's alright, I don't think many people will be alright with this song placing.... -------------------- ![]() |

I'm actually glad you didn't put this so high, in my list it's around 50, but now I think I should've probably put lower because the singing was amzing, but the stage presence QUOTE 94. Hm, I wouldn't put that this low - that's my fav Dana performance cause she was being herself here. She did a song she loved by one of her favourite artists and that showed. I hadn't heard the song before and I loved it - so, I guess it worked for me. QUOTE 92. Magni - When The Time Comes :: Week 11 (Top 4 - Performance) QUOTE But hey, I put it above Dilana's original....... I'm OK with Lucas being low - I never got him, so - you don't get extra hate for this LOL And I agree with Fabi - you have to get more shocking The "pop-er" everyone thought was gonna make her appearance just now, makes her first appearance) Hm, you managed to fool us last time. Jenny - Vasoline?? A performance from week 2 Lucas? A much loved performance from the last performance show Lucas? Nothing strange yet ??? are you nuts ??? lol or are you just normal like me ??
Anyway, i see at least one of the placings to come is not making you too happy.... 89. Jenny Galt - Vasoline :: Week 3 (Top 13 - Elimination) ![]() Well Jenny makes her first of very few appearances. I actually really, really liked this when i first heard it, but after some time I began liking it less, because it just was a bit bland. And she wasn't even keeping on level with the bar she had set herself after "Tainted Love". 88. Magni - My Generation :: Week 2 (Top 14 - Performance) ![]() I know, I know. Many people loved this one a whole lot. And I honestly think his vocal was quite good, as was his performance. I just hate the song..... Magni almost made me like it, but it just wasn't enough. 87. Magni - Hush :: Week 11 (Top 4 - Performance) ![]() And I did it again. I never saw what people found so great about this performance ! I can see there was nothing bad about it, but for me it was just average Magni, he had so many better performances (as did the others) I couldn't put this higher than around the 80's. 86. Storm Large - Surrender :: Week 2 (Top 14 - Performance) ![]() Don't make me feel bad about this now. I admit it was a nice performance, but i seriously have not other argument than with the others, it was good.... but so what ? I actually completely forgot about this performance. (and that's not funny 'cos I have a playlist of all rockstar performances, and I've been listening to almost nothing else since a month and more). Sure Storm showed the Storm we all know and love.... but I dunno. lol Is any of your favourites gonna make my top 50 ???? well just stick around !!! Coming up.... 85 - 81 Clues: - Two songs that were sung again on Fan selection night (the first time they were performed, not from fan night) - Someone's very last performance on the show - A song nobody but one person wanted to sing, but everybody should've. -Lukas -------------------- ![]() |

lmao, i dunno. It's just that I really dislike the song "My Generation". lol But if you think that one was so bad, I think you'll skin me alive for some of the performances that made my top 50 (there's one that didn't even make anybody's top 135, lol).
Okay, moving on to a group of performances I don't think anyone will disagree too much with.... 85. Lukas Rossi - Rebel Yell :: Week 1 (Top 15 - Performance) ![]() One Word: welliactuallydidntthinkitwasthatgood !!! It was ok, but after that performance I wouldn't exactly have called myself a Lukas fan. I found it weird, but still weirdly enchanting. I wanted to watch and look away at the same time. It's just Lukas. lol 84. Ryan Star - I, Alone :: Week 4 (Top 12 - Performance) ![]() After spending three weeks being not entirely sure wheter I liked Ryan or not he made a pretty good performance with this one. I felt he was shouting it a bit too much at places, but he was good. 83. Dana Andrews - House Of The Rising Sun :: Week 5 (Top 11 - Elimination) ![]() This is one song I've always found quite boring. Dana actually made me listen to the entire song (or however much of it she sang) and like it. However I think it was a really bad choice for her to make, because she still hadn't gotten them convinced enough of her being rock enough and doing a slower rock song isn't the best thing to do if you're trying to impress. I also found that the song didn't really suit her voice very well. 82. Dilana - Won't Get Fooled Again :: Week 6 (Top 10 - Performance) ![]() The beginning where Gilby was playing and Dilana was standing there looking supremely cool was so awesome. I even thought Dilana delivered a decent vocal, but the entire performance as a whole was just a big letdown, maybe because it was Dilana or maybe because it was Gilby or both and I had really high expectations for them to blow the roof off the place, but they sorta didn't. Come to think of it, I didn't like any of the performances with Gilby much, I somehow felt that everytime one of the rockers performed with someone form Supernova they felt that Jason, Tommy or Gilby should be in the spotlight rather than they themselves. 81. Lukas Rossi - All These Things That I've Done :: Week 8 (Top 7 - Performance) ![]() I dunno what to say, I found so many of Lukas' performances similar and hard to tell apart. lol So... what can you expect from #'s 80-76: (clues in random order) - One rocker already makes his/her last appearance on the countdown - Another makes his/her first appearance - A performance from the first week by a female rocker - A song two rockers wanted to sing, quite badly. - An acoustic Performance, with the rocker on guitar. -------------------- ![]() |
