jessica was just on the 6:00 news, talking about how she had a 59 year old stalker. i can't find an article about it online so i'm just going to type out what was mentioned on tv..

he somehow got ahold of her cell phone number, 3 months ago, and started leaving her creepy voice messages. this week he flew from california to tampa, just to see her and left her a voicemail that said "come pick me up" and then threatened that he was going to show up at her grandparent's house. i'm assuming he showed up there because jessica ended up calling the police and he was arrested.

man, how scary is that?!

sorry the quality isn't the best but my encoder programs aren't cooperating right now so this is the best i can do for the time being. hopefully i'll be able to get them in higher quality soon.

I heard about this on a morning radio show! They played some of the clips he sent to her voice mail and he sounded soo creepy! They talked to her grandmother on the phone and they are going to call Jessica later... she was sleeping.

Unfortunatly, there are too many sick people in this world, I am glad that Jess and her family are ok. I hope they are able to keep this loser away from her family.
He was delusional he said he knew they would be together and he loved her, he is almost 3 times her age, disgusting.

She was relieved he was put away. She actually gave him Jessica's cell number because he contacted her pretending to be a music producer.

Tampa- The phone calls started the third week of Spetember at 3 times promising undying devotion, other times cursing, " Pick up your damn phone when I call you"
The caller rattled " American Idol" finalist Jessica Sierra, 20. The man , whom police indentifed as Daniel Robert Young, 59, caled Sierra about six times daily and sent a necklace, a bracelet and dozens of long - stemmed roses to her by way of her grandparets house in South Tampa.
On Tuesday, he showed up at the house on South Louis Avenue , carrying a love letter for the singer, Tampa police said. He was charged with misdemeanor stalking.
" Its been crazy" Sierra said Wednesday. " I never expected him to show up in Tampa."
Young, who has addresses in Califorina and Tennesse, was held without bail at Orient Road Jail on Wednesday night. Circuit Judge Walter Heinrich scheduled a bail hearing for Monday and asked the jail to monitor Young's phone calls and correspondence, warning him not to contact Sierra.

Jessica Sierra, who is a niece of Mayor Pam Iorio through marriage, was a top -10 finalist durning the fourth season of " American Idol. " According to Fox, about 35.5 million viewers watched the fifth- season premiere of the telivised talent contest Tuesday night.
The singer moved from Tampa to Nashville, Tenn., about 3 weeks ago to meet with songwriters. The attention from Young began after she and other finalist finished a nationwide tour.
Police spokeswomen Laura McElroy said Young researched the grandparents' phone number and called their house, claiming to be a Los Angels talent scout. The grandparents forwarded the message and Jessica returned his call on her cell phone.
' That was probably dumb on my part" she said. Young told her oh his affection, she said. He told her " how we would be together, how it would never end," she said.
Sierra said she told him to leave her alone, but he persisted, cursing at her in messages from Young. Sierra and police said she saved 38 voice mail messages from Young.
Betty Sierra said her grandmother to get a restaining order against Young once she moved to Nashville she said. Police in Nashville ' told her unless he physically harmed her, there was nothing they could do," Betty Sierra said.
On Tuesday, while the singer was out with friends, Young called her saying he was at the flea market near Interstate 275 and Fowler Avenue. He asked her to pick him up. and she refused, Jessica Sierra said.
He siad "I'll will just take a cab to your grandparents' house,' Jessica Sierra said.
Sierra told him that if he did, police would meet him there. According to Sierra, Young said , " I will get you arrested for you."
The singer alerted police, who arrived at her grandparents' house and arressted Young. Mc Elroy said Young.
McElroy was ' craning his neck to make sure he didn't miss a glimpse of Jessica. He siad she was more beautiful in person that he imagained.''
McElroy said Young told police he had been invited to the house for a party, which the Sierras denied.
The Singer said the experience has made her more cautious " There's a fine line, and I think he crossed that line '' she said.
